ਅਸਟਪਦੀ ॥ असटपदी ॥ Asatpaḋee. Ashtapadee: ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सदा निरलेप ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee saḋaa nirlép. The God-conscious being is always unattached, ਜੈਸੇ ਜਲ ਮਹਿ ਕਮਲ ਅਲੇਪ ॥ जैसे जल महि कमल अलेप ॥ Jæsé jal mėh kamal alép. as the lotus in the water remains detached. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੋਖ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सदा निरदोख ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee saḋaa nirḋokʰ. The God-conscious being is always unstained, ਜੈਸੇ ਸੂਰੁ ਸਰਬ ਕਉ ਸੋਖ ॥ जैसे सूरु सरब कउ सोख ॥ Jæsé soor sarab ka▫o sokʰ. like the sun, which gives its comfort and warmth to all. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै द्रिसटि समानि ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ ḋarisat samaan. The God-conscious being looks upon all alike, ਜੈਸੇ ਰਾਜ ਰੰਕ ਕਉ ਲਾਗੈ ਤੁਲਿ ਪਵਾਨ ॥ जैसे राज रंक कउ लागै तुलि पवान ॥ Jæsé raaj rank ka▫o laagæ ṫul pavaan. like the wind, which blows equally upon the king and the poor beggar. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਧੀਰਜੁ ਏਕ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै धीरजु एक ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ ḋʰeeraj ék. The God-conscious being has a steady patience, ਜਿਉ ਬਸੁਧਾ ਕੋਊ ਖੋਦੈ ਕੋਊ ਚੰਦਨ ਲੇਪ ॥ जिउ बसुधा कोऊ खोदै कोऊ चंदन लेप ॥ Ji▫o basuḋʰaa ko▫oo kʰoḋæ ko▫oo chanḋan lép. like the earth, which is dug up by one, and anointed with sandal paste by another. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਇਹੈ ਗੁਨਾਉ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का इहै गुनाउ ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa ihæ gunaa▫o. This is the quality of the God-conscious being: ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਉ ਪਾਵਕ ਕਾ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਉ ॥੧॥ नानक जिउ पावक का सहज सुभाउ ॥१॥ Naanak ji▫o paavak kaa sahj subʰaa▫o. ||1|| O Nanak! His inherent nature is like a warming fire. ||1|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी निरमल ते निरमला ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee nirmal ṫé nirmalaa. The God-conscious being is the purest of the pure; ਜੈਸੇ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਜਲਾ ॥ जैसे मैलु न लागै जला ॥ Jæsé mæl na laagæ jalaa. filth does not stick to water. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै मनि होइ प्रगासु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ man ho▫é pargaas. The God-conscious being’s mind is enlightened, ਜੈਸੇ ਧਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਆਕਾਸੁ ॥ जैसे धर ऊपरि आकासु ॥ Jæsé ḋʰar oopar aakaas. like the sky above the earth. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै मित्र सत्रु समानि ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ miṫar saṫar samaan. To the God-conscious being, friend and foe are the same. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै नाही अभिमान ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ naahee abʰimaan. The God-conscious being has no egotistical pride. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਊਚ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी ऊच ते ऊचा ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ooch ṫé oochaa. The God-conscious being is the highest of the high. ਮਨਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਨੀਚਾ ॥ मनि अपनै है सभ ते नीचा ॥ Man apnæ hæ sabʰ ṫé neechaa. Within his own mind, he is the most humble of all. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਭਏ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी से जन भए ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee sé jan bʰa▫é. They alone become God-conscious beings, ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥੨॥ नानक जिन प्रभु आपि करेइ ॥२॥ Naanak jin parabʰ aap karé▫i. ||2|| O Nanak! Whom God Himself makes so. ||2|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਗਲ ਕੀ ਰੀਨਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सगल की रीना ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee sagal kee reenaa. The God-conscious being is the dust of all. ਆਤਮ ਰਸੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਚੀਨਾ ॥ आतम रसु ब्रहम गिआनी चीना ॥ Aaṫam ras barahm gi▫aanee cheenaa. The God-conscious being knows the nature of the soul. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਊਪਰਿ ਮਇਆ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी की सभ ऊपरि मइआ ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kee sabʰ oopar ma▫i▫aa. The God-conscious being shows kindness to all. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਤੇ ਕਛੁ ਬੁਰਾ ਨ ਭਇਆ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी ते कछु बुरा न भइआ ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ṫé kachʰ buraa na bʰa▫i▫aa. No evil comes from the God-conscious being. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਮਦਰਸੀ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सदा समदरसी ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee saḋaa samaḋrasee. The God-conscious being is always impartial. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਬਰਸੀ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी की द्रिसटि अमृतु बरसी ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kee ḋarisat amriṫ barsee. Nectar rains down from the glance of the God-conscious being. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬੰਧਨ ਤੇ ਮੁਕਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी बंधन ते मुकता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee banḋʰan ṫé mukṫaa. The God-conscious being is free from entanglements. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੁਗਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी की निरमल जुगता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kee nirmal jugṫaa. The lifestyle of the God-conscious being is spotlessly pure. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਗਿਆਨ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का भोजनु गिआन ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa bʰojan gi▫aan. Spiritual wisdom is the food of the God-conscious being. ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥੩॥ नानक ब्रहम गिआनी का ब्रहम धिआनु ॥३॥ Naanak barahm gi▫aanee kaa barahm ḋʰi▫aan. ||3|| O Nanak! The God-conscious being is absorbed in God’s meditation. ||3|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਏਕ ਊਪਰਿ ਆਸ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी एक ऊपरि आस ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ék oopar aas. The God-conscious being centers his hopes on the One alone. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਨਹੀ ਬਿਨਾਸ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का नही बिनास ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa nahee binaas. The God-conscious being shall never perish. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਸਮਾਹਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै गरीबी समाहा ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ gareebee samaahaa. The God-conscious being is steeped in humility. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰ ਉਮਾਹਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी परउपकार उमाहा ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee par▫upkaar omaahaa. The God-conscious being delights in doing good to others. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਧੰਧਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै नाही धंधा ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ naahee ḋʰanḋʰaa. The God-conscious being has no worldly entanglements. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਲੇ ਧਾਵਤੁ ਬੰਧਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी ले धावतु बंधा ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee lé ḋʰaavaṫ banḋʰaa. The God-conscious being holds his wandering mind under control. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਭਲਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै होइ सु भला ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ ho▫é so bʰalaa. The God-conscious being acts in the common good. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੁਫਲ ਫਲਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सुफल फला ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee sufal falaa. The God-conscious being blossoms in fruitfulness. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਗਲ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी संगि सगल उधारु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee sang sagal uḋʰaar. In the Company of the God-conscious being, all are saved. ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜਪੈ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥੪॥ नानक ब्रहम गिआनी जपै सगल संसारु ॥४॥ Naanak barahm gi▫aanee japæ sagal sansaar. ||4|| O Nanak! Through the God-conscious being, the whole world meditates on God. ||4|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਏਕੈ ਰੰਗ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै एकै रंग ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ ékæ rang. The God-conscious being loves the One Lord alone. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਬਸੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੰਗ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै बसै प्रभु संग ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ basæ parabʰ sang. The God-conscious being dwells with God. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै नामु आधारु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ naam aaḋʰaar. The God-conscious being takes the Naam as his Support. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਵਾਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै नामु परवारु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ naam parvaar. The God-conscious being has the Naam as his Family. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਜਾਗਤ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सदा सद जागत ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee saḋaa saḋ jaagaṫ. The God-conscious being is awake and aware, forever and ever. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਤਿਆਗਤ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी अह्मबुधि तिआगत ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ahaⁿ▫buḋʰ ṫi▫aagaṫ. The God-conscious being renounces his proud ego. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै मनि परमानंद ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ man parmaananḋ. In the mind of the God-conscious being, there is supreme bliss. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै घरि सदा अनंद ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ gʰar saḋaa anand. In the home of the God-conscious being, there is everlasting bliss. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सुख सहज निवास ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee sukʰ sahj nivaas. The God-conscious being dwells in peaceful ease. ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਨਹੀ ਬਿਨਾਸ ॥੫॥ नानक ब्रहम गिआनी का नही बिनास ॥५॥ Naanak barahm gi▫aanee kaa nahee binaas. ||5|| O Nanak! The God-conscious being shall never perish. ||5|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਾ ਬੇਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी ब्रहम का बेता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee barahm kaa béṫaa. The God-conscious being knows God. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਏਕ ਸੰਗਿ ਹੇਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी एक संगि हेता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ék sang héṫaa. The God-conscious being is in love with the One alone. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਹੋਇ ਅਚਿੰਤ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै होइ अचिंत ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ ho▫é achinṫ. The God-conscious being is carefree. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का निरमल मंत ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa nirmal manṫ. Pure are the Teachings of the God-conscious being. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਕਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी जिसु करै प्रभु आपि ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee jis karæ parabʰ aap. The God-conscious being is made so by God Himself. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਬਡ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का बड परताप ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa bad parṫaap. The God-conscious being is gloriously great. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਬਡਭਾਗੀ ਪਾਈਐ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का दरसु बडभागी पाईऐ ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa ḋaras badbʰaagee paa▫ee▫æ. The Darshan, the Blessed Vision of the God-conscious being, is obtained by great good fortune. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कउ बलि बलि जाईऐ ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ka▫o bal bal jaa▫ee▫æ. To the God-conscious being, I make my life a sacrifice. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਉ ਖੋਜਹਿ ਮਹੇਸੁਰ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कउ खोजहि महेसुर ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ka▫o kʰojėh mahésur. The God-conscious being is sought by the great god Shiva. ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਆਪਿ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ॥੬॥ नानक ब्रहम गिआनी आपि परमेसुर ॥६॥ Naanak barahm gi▫aanee aap parmésur. ||6|| O Nanak! The God-conscious being is Himself the Supreme Lord God. ||6|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਾਹਿ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी की कीमति नाहि ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kee keemaṫ naahi. The God-conscious being cannot be appraised. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਸਗਲ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कै सगल मन माहि ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kæ sagal man maahi. The God-conscious being has all within his mind. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਕਉਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਭੇਦੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का कउन जानै भेदु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa ka▫un jaanæ bʰéḋ. Who can know the mystery of the God-conscious being? ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਉ ਸਦਾ ਅਦੇਸੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी कउ सदा अदेसु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee ka▫o saḋaa aḋés. Forever bow to the God-conscious being. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਕਥਿਆ ਨ ਜਾਇ ਅਧਾਖੵਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का कथिआ न जाइ अधाख्यरु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa kaṫʰi▫aa na jaa▫é aḋʰaakʰ▫yar. The God-conscious being cannot be described in words. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਰਬ ਕਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सरब का ठाकुरु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee sarab kaa tʰaakur. The God-conscious being is the Lord and Master of all. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਮਿਤਿ ਕਉਨੁ ਬਖਾਨੈ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी की मिति कउनु बखानै ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kee miṫ ka▫un bakʰaanæ. Who can describe the limits of the God-conscious being? ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜਾਨੈ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी की गति ब्रहम गिआनी जानै ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kee gaṫ barahm gi▫aanee jaanæ. Only the God-conscious being can know the state of the God-conscious being. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का अंतु न पारु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa anṫ na paar. The God-conscious being has no end or limitation. ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਉ ਸਦਾ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੁ ॥੭॥ नानक ब्रहम गिआनी कउ सदा नमसकारु ॥७॥ Naanak barahm gi▫aanee ka▫o saḋaa namaskaar. ||7|| O Nanak! To the God-conscious being, bow forever in reverence. ||7|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕਾ ਕਰਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सभ स्रिसटि का करता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee sabʰ sarisat kaa karṫaa. The God-conscious being is the Creator of all the world. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦ ਜੀਵੈ ਨਹੀ ਮਰਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी सद जीवै नही मरता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee saḋ jeevæ nahee marṫaa. The God-conscious being lives forever, and does not die. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਜੀਅ ਕਾ ਦਾਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी मुकति जुगति जीअ का दाता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee mukaṫ jugaṫ jee▫a kaa ḋaaṫaa. The God-conscious being is the Giver of the way of liberation of the soul. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी पूरन पुरखु बिधाता ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee pooran purakʰ biḋʰaaṫaa. The God-conscious being is the Perfect Supreme Being, who orchestrates all. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅਨਾਥ ਕਾ ਨਾਥੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी अनाथ का नाथु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee anaaṫʰ kaa naaṫʰ. The God-conscious being is the helper of the helpless. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਸਭ ਊਪਰਿ ਹਾਥੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का सभ ऊपरि हाथु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa sabʰ oopar haaṫʰ. The God-conscious being extends his hand to all. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਸਗਲ ਅਕਾਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी का सगल अकारु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kaa sagal akaar. The God-conscious being owns the entire creation. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी आपि निरंकारु ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee aap nirankaar. The God-conscious being is himself the Formless Lord. ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬਨੀ ॥ ब्रहम गिआनी की सोभा ब्रहम गिआनी बनी ॥ Barahm gi▫aanee kee sobʰaa barahm gi▫aanee banee. The glory of the God-conscious being belongs to the God-conscious being alone. ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਰਬ ਕਾ ਧਨੀ ॥੮॥੮॥ नानक ब्रहम गिआनी सरब का धनी ॥८॥८॥ Naanak barahm gi▫aanee sarab kaa ḋʰanee. ||8||8|| O Nanak! The God-conscious being is the Lord of all. ||8||8||
