ਲਲਾ ਲਾਵਉ ਅਉਖਧ ਜਾਹੂ ॥ लला लावउ अउखध जाहू ॥ Lalā lāva▫o a▫ukẖaḏẖ jāhū. LALLA: One who takes the medicine of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, ਦੂਖ ਦਰਦ ਤਿਹ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਖਿਨਾਹੂ ॥ दूख दरद तिह मिटहि खिनाहू ॥ Ḏūkẖ ḏaraḏ ṯih mitėh kẖināhū. is cured of his pain and sorrow in an instant. ਨਾਮ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਜਿਹ ਰਿਦੈ ਹਿਤਾਵੈ ॥ नाम अउखधु जिह रिदै हितावै ॥ Nām a▫ukẖaḏẖ jih riḏai hiṯāvai. One whose heart is filled with the medicine of the Naam, ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਤਾਹਿ ਰੋਗੁ ਸੁਪਨੈ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ॥ ताहि रोगु सुपनै नही आवै ॥ Ŧāhi rog supnai nahī āvai. is not infested with disease, even in his dreams. ਹਰਿ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਸਭ ਘਟ ਹੈ ਭਾਈ ॥ हरि अउखधु सभ घट है भाई ॥ Har a▫ukẖaḏẖ sabẖ gẖat hai bẖā▫ī. The medicine of the Lord's Name is in all hearts, O Siblings of Destiny. ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਨ ਬਨਾਈ ॥ गुर पूरे बिनु बिधि न बनाई ॥ Gur pūre bin biḏẖ na banā▫ī. Without the Perfect Guru, no one knows how to prepare it. ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਸੰਜਮੁ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਆ ॥ गुरि पूरै संजमु करि दीआ ॥ Gur pūrai sanjam kar ḏī▫ā. When the Perfect Guru gives the instructions to prepare it, ਨਾਨਕ ਤਉ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਨ ਥੀਆ ॥੪੫॥ नानक तउ फिरि दूख न थीआ ॥४५॥ Nānak ṯa▫o fir ḏūkẖ na thī▫ā. ||45|| then, O Nanak, one does not suffer illness again. ||45||
