ਦਇਆ ਮਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤਿ ਮੋਰੇ ਮੋਹਿ ਅਨਾਥ ਸਰਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੋਰੀ
दइआ मइआ करि प्रानपति मोरे मोहि अनाथ सरणि प्रभ तोरी ॥
Ḏa▫i▫ā ma▫i▫ā kar parānpaṯ more mohi anāth saraṇ parabẖ ṯorī.
Please be kind and compassionate, O Lord of my life; I am helpless, and I seek Your Sanctuary, God.

ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ

Gauree, Fifth Mehl:

ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪ ਮਹਿ ਹਾਥ ਦੇ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਕਛੂ ਸਿਆਨਪ ਉਕਤਿ ਮੋਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
अंध कूप महि हाथ दे राखहु कछू सिआनप उकति न मोरी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Anḏẖ kūp mėh hāth ḏe rākẖo kacẖẖū si▫ānap ukaṯ na morī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Please, give me Your Hand, and lift me up, out of the deep dark pit. I have no clever tricks at all. ||1||Pause||

ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਤੁਮ ਸਮਰਥ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਨ ਹੋਰੀ
करन करावन सभ किछु तुम ही तुम समरथ नाही अन होरी ॥
Karan karāvan sabẖ kicẖẖ ṯum hī ṯum samrath nāhī an horī.
You are the Doer, the Cause of causes - You are everything. You are All-powerful; there is no other than You.

ਤੁਮਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਨੀ ਸੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਜਿਨ ਭਾਗ ਮਥੋਰੀ ॥੧॥
तुमरी गति मिति तुम ही जानी से सेवक जिन भाग मथोरी ॥१॥
Ŧumrī gaṯ miṯ ṯum hī jānī se sevak jin bẖāg mathorī. ||1||
You alone know Your condition and extent. They alone become Your servants, upon whose foreheads such good destiny is recorded. ||1||

ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੁਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਤੇ ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ ਭਗਤਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਜੋਰੀ
अपुने सेवक संगि तुम प्रभ राते ओति पोति भगतन संगि जोरी ॥
Apune sevak sang ṯum parabẖ rāṯe oṯ poṯ bẖagṯan sang jorī.
You are imbued with Your servant, God; Your devotees are woven into Your Fabric, through and through.

ਪ੍ਰਿਉ ਪ੍ਰਿਉ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਚਾਹੈ ਜੈਸੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਓਹ ਚੰਦ ਚਕੋਰੀ ॥੨॥
प्रिउ प्रिउ नामु तेरा दरसनु चाहै जैसे द्रिसटि ओह चंद चकोरी ॥२॥
Pari▫o pari▫o nām ṯerā ḏarsan cẖāhai jaise ḏarisat oh cẖanḏ cẖakorī. ||2||
O Darling Beloved, they yearn for Your Name and the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, like the chakvee bird which longs to see the moon. ||2||

ਰਾਮ ਸੰਤ ਮਹਿ ਭੇਦੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਏਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਕਈ ਮਹਿ ਲਾਖ ਕਰੋਰੀ
राम संत महि भेदु किछु नाही एकु जनु कई महि लाख करोरी ॥
Rām sanṯ mėh bẖeḏ kicẖẖ nāhī ek jan ka▫ī mėh lākẖ karorī.
Between the Lord and His Saint, there is no difference at all. Among hundreds of thousands and millions, there is scarcely one humble being.

ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹੀਐ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹੋਆ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਰਸਨ ਰਮੋਰੀ ॥੩॥
जा कै हीऐ प्रगटु प्रभु होआ अनदिनु कीरतनु रसन रमोरी ॥३॥
Jā kai hī▫ai pargat parabẖ ho▫ā an▫ḏin kīrṯan rasan ramorī. ||3||
Those whose hearts are illuminated by God, sing the Kirtan of His Praises night and day with their tongues. ||3||

ਤੁਮ ਸਮਰਥ ਅਪਾਰ ਅਤਿ ਊਚੇ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧੋਰੀ
तुम समरथ अपार अति ऊचे सुखदाते प्रभ प्रान अधोरी ॥
Ŧum samrath apār aṯ ūcẖe sukẖ▫ḏāṯe parabẖ parān aḏẖorī.
You are All-powerful and Infinite, the most lofty and exalted, the Giver of peace; O God, You are the Support of the breath of life.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀਜੈ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਉਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਗੋਰੀ ॥੪॥੧੩॥੧੩੪॥
नानक कउ प्रभ कीजै किरपा उन संतन कै संगि संगोरी ॥४॥१३॥१३४॥
Nānak ka▫o parabẖ kījai kirpā un sanṯan kai sang sangorī. ||4||13||134||
Please show mercy to Nanak, O God, that he may remain in the Society of the Saints. ||4||13||134||

ਤੁਮ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਰਾਤੇ ਸੰਤਹੁ
तुम हरि सेती राते संतहु ॥
Ŧum har seṯī rāṯe sanṯahu.
O Saint, You are attuned to the Lord.
