ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛī mėhlā 5. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਾਇ ਬਲਾਇ ॥ हरि सिमरत तेरी जाइ बलाइ ॥ Har simraṯ ṯerī jā▫e balā▫e. Remembering the Lord in meditation, your misfortune shall be taken away, ਭਜੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥ भजु मन मेरे एको नाम ॥ Bẖaj man mere eko nām. Meditate, O my mind, on the One Name. ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੧॥ सरब कलिआण वसै मनि आइ ॥१॥ Sarab kali▫āṇ vasai man ā▫e. ||1|| and all joy shall come to abide in your mind. ||1|| ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੈ ਆਵੈ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जीअ तेरे कै आवै काम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jī▫a ṯere kai āvai kām. ||1|| rahā▫o. It alone shall be of use to your soul. ||1||Pause|| ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ਅਨੰਤਾ ॥ रैणि दिनसु गुण गाउ अनंता ॥ Raiṇ ḏinas guṇ gā▫o ananṯā. Night and day, sing the Glorious Praises of the Infinite Lord, ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤਾ ॥੨॥ गुर पूरे का निरमल मंता ॥२॥ Gur pūre kā nirmal mannṯā. ||2|| through the Pure Mantra of the Perfect Guru. ||2|| ਛੋਡਿ ਉਪਾਵ ਏਕ ਟੇਕ ਰਾਖੁ ॥ छोडि उपाव एक टेक राखु ॥ Cẖẖod upāv ek tek rākẖ. Give up other efforts, and place your faith in the Support of the One Lord. ਮਹਾ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਖੁ ॥੩॥ महा पदारथु अम्रित रसु चाखु ॥३॥ Mahā paḏārath amriṯ ras cẖākẖ. ||3|| Taste the Ambrosial Essence of this, the greatest treasure. ||3|| ਬਿਖਮ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤੇਈ ਜਨ ਤਰੇ ॥ बिखम सागरु तेई जन तरे ॥ Bikẖam sāgar ṯe▫ī jan ṯare. They alone cross over the treacherous world-ocean, ਹਿਰਦੈ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ हिरदै चरन कमल प्रभ धारे ॥ Hirḏai cẖaran kamal parabẖ ḏẖāre. I have enshrined the Lotus Feet of God within my heart.
