ਰਾਜੇ ਰਯਤਿ ਸਿਕਦਾਰ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਰਹਸੀਓ ॥ राजे रयति सिकदार कोइ न रहसीओ ॥ Rāje ra▫yaṯ sikḏār ko▫e na rahsī▫o. Neither the kings, nor their subjects, nor the leaders shall remain. ਹਟ ਪਟਣ ਬਾਜਾਰ ਹੁਕਮੀ ਢਹਸੀਓ ॥ हट पटण बाजार हुकमी ढहसीओ ॥ Hat pataṇ bājār hukmī dẖahsī▫o. The shops, the cities and the streets shall eventually disintegrate, by the Hukam of the Lord's Command. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਪਕੇ ਬੰਕ ਦੁਆਰ ਮੂਰਖੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਆਪਣੇ ॥ पके बंक दुआर मूरखु जाणै आपणे ॥ Pake bank ḏu▫ār mūrakẖ jāṇai āpṇe. Those solid and beautiful mansions-the fools think that they belong to them. ਦਰਬਿ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਰੀਤੇ ਇਕਿ ਖਣੇ ॥ दरबि भरे भंडार रीते इकि खणे ॥ Ḏarab bẖare bẖandār rīṯe ik kẖaṇe. The treasure-houses, filled with wealth, shall be emptied out in an instant. ਤਾਜੀ ਰਥ ਤੁਖਾਰ ਹਾਥੀ ਪਾਖਰੇ ॥ ताजी रथ तुखार हाथी पाखरे ॥ Ŧājī rath ṯukẖār hāthī pākẖre. The horses, chariots, camels and elephants with all their decorations; ਬਾਗ ਮਿਲਖ ਘਰ ਬਾਰ ਕਿਥੈ ਸਿ ਆਪਣੇ ॥ बाग मिलख घर बार किथै सि आपणे ॥ Bāg milakẖ gẖar bār kithai sė āpṇe. the gardens, lands, houses, where are all those things, which they believed to be their own, ਤੰਬੂ ਪਲੰਘ ਨਿਵਾਰ ਸਰਾਇਚੇ ਲਾਲਤੀ ॥ त्मबू पलंघ निवार सराइचे लालती ॥ Ŧambū palangẖ nivār sarā▫icẖe lālṯī. including tents, soft beds and satin pavilions? ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ਸਿਨਾਖਤੁ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ॥੮॥ नानक सच दातारु सिनाखतु कुदरती ॥८॥ Nānak sacẖ ḏāṯār sinākẖaṯ kuḏraṯī. ||8|| O Nanak, the True One is the Giver of all; He is revealed through His All-powerful Creative Nature. ||8|| |
