ਕਬੀਰ ਜੇਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਏ ਰਾਖੇ ਤਲੈ ਦੁਰਾਇ
कबीर जेते पाप कीए राखे तलै दुराइ ॥
Kabīr jeṯe pāp kī▫e rākẖe ṯalai ḏurā▫e.
Kabeer, whatever sins the mortal has committed, he tries to keep hidden under cover.

ਆਪ ਡੁਬੇ ਚਹੁ ਬੇਦ ਮਹਿ ਚੇਲੇ ਦੀਏ ਬਹਾਇ ॥੧੦੪॥
आप डुबे चहु बेद महि चेले दीए बहाइ ॥१०४॥
Āp dube cẖahu beḏ mėh cẖele ḏī▫e bahā▫e. ||104||
He himself is drowning in the four Vedas; he drowns his disciples as well. ||104||

ਪਰਗਟ ਭਏ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਸਭ ਜਬ ਪੂਛੇ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ॥੧੦੫॥
परगट भए निदान सभ जब पूछे धरम राइ ॥१०५॥
Pargat bẖa▫e niḏān sabẖ jab pūcẖẖe ḏẖaram rā▫e. ||105||
But in the end, they shall all be revealed, when the Righteous Judge of Dharma investigates. ||105||

ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਪਾਲਿਓ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਕੁਟੰਬੁ
कबीर हरि का सिमरनु छाडि कै पालिओ बहुतु कुट्मबु ॥
Kabīr har kā simran cẖẖād kai pāli▫o bahuṯ kutamb.
Kabeer, you have given up meditating on the Lord, and you have raised a large family.

ਧੰਧਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਇਆ ਭਾਈ ਰਹਿਆ ਬੰਧੁ ॥੧੦੬॥
धंधा करता रहि गइआ भाई रहिआ न बंधु ॥१०६॥
Ḏẖanḏẖā karṯā rėh ga▫i▫ā bẖā▫ī rahi▫ā na banḏẖ. ||106||
You continue to involve yourself in worldly affairs, but none of your brothers and relatives remain. ||106||

ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਰਾਤਿ ਜਗਾਵਨ ਜਾਇ
कबीर हरि का सिमरनु छाडि कै राति जगावन जाइ ॥
Kabīr har kā simran cẖẖād kai rāṯ jagāvan jā▫e.
Kabeer, those who give up meditation on the Lord, and get up at night to wake the spirits of the dead,

ਸਰਪਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਅਉਤਰੈ ਜਾਏ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਖਾਇ ॥੧੦੭॥
सरपनि होइ कै अउतरै जाए अपुने खाइ ॥१०७॥
Sarpan ho▫e kai a▫uṯarai jā▫e apune kẖā▫e. ||107||
shall be reincarnated as snakes, and eat their own offspring. ||107||

ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਅਹੋਈ ਰਾਖੈ ਨਾਰਿ
कबीर हरि का सिमरनु छाडि कै अहोई राखै नारि ॥
Kabīr har kā simran cẖẖād kai aho▫ī rākẖai nār.
Kabeer, the woman who gives up meditation on the Lord, and observes the ritual fast of Ahoi,

ਗਦਹੀ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਅਉਤਰੈ ਭਾਰੁ ਸਹੈ ਮਨ ਚਾਰਿ ॥੧੦੮॥
गदही होइ कै अउतरै भारु सहै मन चारि ॥१०८॥
Gaḏhī ho▫e kai a▫uṯarai bẖār sahai man cẖār. ||108||
shall be reincarnated as a donkey, to carry heavy burdens. ||108||

ਕਬੀਰ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਅਤਿ ਘਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਮਾਹਿ
कबीर चतुराई अति घनी हरि जपि हिरदै माहि ॥
Kabīr cẖaṯurā▫ī aṯ gẖanī har jap hirḏai māhi.
Kabeer, it is the most clever wisdom, to chant and meditate on the Lord in the heart.

ਸੂਰੀ ਊਪਰਿ ਖੇਲਨਾ ਗਿਰੈ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੧੦੯॥
सूरी ऊपरि खेलना गिरै त ठाहर नाहि ॥१०९॥
Sūrī ūpar kẖelnā girai ṯa ṯẖāhar nāhi. ||109||
It is like playing on a pig; if you fall off, you will find no place of rest. ||109||

ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋੁਈ ਮੁਖੁ ਧੰਨਿ ਹੈ ਜਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਕਹੀਐ ਰਾਮੁ
कबीर सोई मुखु धंनि है जा मुखि कहीऐ रामु ॥
Kabīr so▫ī mukẖ ḏẖan hai jā mukẖ kahī▫ai rām.
Kabeer, blessed is that mouth, which utters the Lord's Name.

ਦੇਹੀ ਕਿਸ ਕੀ ਬਾਪੁਰੀ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੁ ਹੋਇਗੋ ਗ੍ਰਾਮੁ ॥੧੧੦॥
देही किस की बापुरी पवित्रु होइगो ग्रामु ॥११०॥
Ḏehī kis kī bāpurī paviṯar ho▫igo garām. ||110||
It purifies the body, and the whole village as well. ||110||

ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋਈ ਕੁਲ ਭਲੀ ਜਾ ਕੁਲ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਦਾਸੁ
कबीर सोई कुल भली जा कुल हरि को दासु ॥
Kabīr so▫ī kul bẖalī jā kul har ko ḏās.
Kabeer, that family is good, in which the Lord's slave is born.

ਜਿਹ ਕੁਲ ਦਾਸੁ ਊਪਜੈ ਸੋ ਕੁਲ ਢਾਕੁ ਪਲਾਸੁ ॥੧੧੧॥
जिह कुल दासु न ऊपजै सो कुल ढाकु पलासु ॥१११॥
Jih kul ḏās na ūpjai so kul dẖāk palās. ||111||
But that family in which the Lord's slave is not born is as useless as weeds. ||111||

ਕਬੀਰ ਹੈ ਗਇ ਬਾਹਨ ਸਘਨ ਘਨ ਲਾਖ ਧਜਾ ਫਹਰਾਹਿ
कबीर है गइ बाहन सघन घन लाख धजा फहराहि ॥
Kabīr hai ga▫e bāhan sagẖan gẖan lākẖ ḏẖajā fahrāhi.
Kabeer, some have lots of horses, elephants and carriages, and thousands of banners waving.

ਇਆ ਸੁਖ ਤੇ ਭਿਖ੍ਯ੍ਯਾ ਭਲੀ ਜਉ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੧੧੨॥
इआ सुख ते भिख्या भली जउ हरि सिमरत दिन जाहि ॥११२॥
I▫ā sukẖ ṯe bẖikẖ▫yā bẖalī ja▫o har simraṯ ḏin jāhi. ||112||
But begging is better than these comforts, if one spends his days meditating in remembrance on the Lord. ||112||

ਕਬੀਰ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਹਉ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਮਾਂਦਲੁ ਕੰਧ ਚਢਾਇ
कबीर सभु जगु हउ फिरिओ मांदलु कंध चढाइ ॥
Kabīr sabẖ jag ha▫o firi▫o māʼnḏal kanḏẖ cẖadẖā▫e.
Kabeer, I have wandered all over the world, carrying the drum on my shoulder.

ਕੋਈ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਸਭ ਦੇਖੀ ਠੋਕਿ ਬਜਾਇ ॥੧੧੩॥
कोई काहू को नही सभ देखी ठोकि बजाइ ॥११३॥
Ko▫ī kāhū ko nahī sabẖ ḏekẖī ṯẖok bajā▫e. ||113||
No one belongs to anyone else; I have looked and carefully studied it. ||113||

ਮਾਰਗਿ ਮੋਤੀ ਬੀਥਰੇ ਅੰਧਾ ਨਿਕਸਿਓ ਆਇ
मारगि मोती बीथरे अंधा निकसिओ आइ ॥
Mārag moṯī bīthre anḏẖā niksi▫o ā▫e.
The pearls are scattered on the road; the blind man comes along.

ਜੋਤਿ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਕੀ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਲੰਘੇ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੧੪॥
जोति बिना जगदीस की जगतु उलंघे जाइ ॥११४॥
Joṯ binā jagḏīs kī jagaṯ ulangẖe jā▫e. ||114||
Without the Light of the Lord of the Universe, the world just passes them by. ||114||

ਬੂਡਾ ਬੰਸੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਕਾ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਪੂਤੁ ਕਮਾਲੁ
बूडा बंसु कबीर का उपजिओ पूतु कमालु ॥
Būdā bans Kabīr kā upji▫o pūṯ kamāl.
My family is drowned, O Kabeer, since the birth of my son Kamaal.

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਲੇ ਆਯਾ ਮਾਲੁ ॥੧੧੫॥
हरि का सिमरनु छाडि कै घरि ले आया मालु ॥११५॥
Har kā simran cẖẖād kai gẖar le ā▫yā māl. ||115||
He has given up meditating on the Lord, in order to bring home wealth. ||115||

ਕਬੀਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਨੇ ਜਾਈਐ ਸਾਥਿ ਲੀਜੈ ਕੋਇ
कबीर साधू कउ मिलने जाईऐ साथि न लीजै कोइ ॥
Kabīr sāḏẖū ka▫o milne jā▫ī▫ai sāth na lījai ko▫e.
Kabeer, go out to meet the holy man; do not take anyone else with you.

ਪਾਛੈ ਪਾਉ ਦੀਜੀਐ ਆਗੈ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੧੬॥
पाछै पाउ न दीजीऐ आगै होइ सु होइ ॥११६॥
Pācẖẖai pā▫o na ḏījī▫ai āgai ho▫e so ho▫e. ||116||
Do not turn back - keep on going. Whatever will be, will be. ||116||

ਕਬੀਰ ਜਗੁ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਜਿਹ ਜੇਵਰੀ ਤਿਹ ਮਤ ਬੰਧਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ
कबीर जगु बाधिओ जिह जेवरी तिह मत बंधहु कबीर ॥
Kabīr jag bāḏẖi▫o jih jevrī ṯih maṯ banḏẖhu Kabīr.
Kabeer, do not bind yourself with that chain, which binds the whole world.

ਜੈਹਹਿ ਆਟਾ ਲੋਨ ਜਿਉ ਸੋਨ ਸਮਾਨਿ ਸਰੀਰੁ ॥੧੧੭॥
जैहहि आटा लोन जिउ सोन समानि सरीरु ॥११७॥
Jaihėh ātā lon ji▫o son samān sarīr. ||117||
As the salt is lost in the flour, so shall your golden body be lost. ||117||

ਅਜਹੂ ਜੀਉ ਛੋਡਈ ਰੰਕਾਈ ਨੈਨਾਹ ॥੧੧੮॥
अजहू जीउ न छोडई रंकाई नैनाह ॥११८॥
Ajhū jī▫o na cẖẖod▫ī rankā▫ī naināh. ||118||
Even then, the mortal does not give up the cruel look in his eyes. ||118||

ਕਬੀਰ ਨੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਰਉ ਤੁਝ ਕਉ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਸੁਨਉ ਤੁਅ ਨਾਉ
कबीर नैन निहारउ तुझ कउ स्रवन सुनउ तुअ नाउ ॥
Kabīr nain nihāra▫o ṯujẖ ka▫o sarvan sun▫o ṯu▫a nā▫o.
Kabeer: with my eyes, I see You, Lord; with my ears, I hear Your Name.

ਕਬੀਰ ਹੰਸੁ ਉਡਿਓ ਤਨੁ ਗਾਡਿਓ ਸੋਝਾਈ ਸੈਨਾਹ
कबीर हंसु उडिओ तनु गाडिओ सोझाई सैनाह ॥
Kabīr hans udi▫o ṯan gādi▫o sojẖā▫ī saināh.
Kabeer, the soul-swan is flying away, and the body is being buried, and still he makes gestures.

ਬੈਨ ਉਚਰਉ ਤੁਅ ਨਾਮ ਜੀ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਰਿਦ ਠਾਉ ॥੧੧੯॥
बैन उचरउ तुअ नाम जी चरन कमल रिद ठाउ ॥११९॥
Bain ucẖara▫o ṯu▫a nām jī cẖaran kamal riḏ ṯẖā▫o. ||119||
With my tongue I chant Your Name; I enshrine Your Lotus Feet within my heart. ||119||

ਕਬੀਰ ਸੁਰਗ ਨਰਕ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ
कबीर सुरग नरक ते मै रहिओ सतिगुर के परसादि ॥
Kabīr surag narak ṯe mai rahi▫o saṯgur ke parsāḏ.
Kabeer, I have been spared from heaven and hell, by the Grace of the True Guru.

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕੀ ਮਉਜ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਉ ਅੰਤਿ ਅਰੁ ਆਦਿ ॥੧੨੦॥
चरन कमल की मउज महि रहउ अंति अरु आदि ॥१२०॥
Cẖaran kamal kī ma▫uj mėh raha▫o anṯ ar āḏ. ||120||
From beginning to end, I abide in the joy of the Lord's Lotus Feet. ||120||

ਕਬੀਰ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕੀ ਮਉਜ ਕੋ ਕਹਿ ਕੈਸੇ ਉਨਮਾਨ
कबीर चरन कमल की मउज को कहि कैसे उनमान ॥
Kabīr cẖaran kamal kī ma▫uj ko kahi kaise unmān.
Kabeer, how can I even describe the extent of the joy of the Lord's Lotus Feet?

ਕਹਿਬੇ ਕਉ ਸੋਭਾ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਖਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥੧੨੧॥
कहिबे कउ सोभा नही देखा ही परवानु ॥१२१॥
Kahibe ka▫o sobẖā nahī ḏekẖā hī parvān. ||121||
I cannot describe its sublime glory; it has to be seen to be appreciated. ||121||

ਕਬੀਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਕੈ ਕਿਹ ਕਹਉ ਕਹੇ ਕੋ ਪਤੀਆਇ
कबीर देखि कै किह कहउ कहे न को पतीआइ ॥
Kabīr ḏekẖ kai kih kaha▫o kahe na ko paṯī▫ā▫e.
Kabeer, how can I describe what I have seen? No one will believe my words.

ਹਰਿ ਜੈਸਾ ਤੈਸਾ ਉਹੀ ਰਹਉ ਹਰਖਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇ ॥੧੨੨॥
हरि जैसा तैसा उही रहउ हरखि गुन गाइ ॥१२२॥
Har jaisā ṯaisā uhī raha▫o harakẖ gun gā▫e. ||122||
The Lord is just as He is. I dwell in delight, singing His Glorious Praises. ||122||
