ਆਤਮ ਰਤੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਗਹੰ ਤੇ ਨਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਹਫਲਹ ॥੬੫॥ आतम रतं संसार गहं ते नर नानक निहफलह ॥६५॥ Āṯam raṯaʼn sansār gahaʼn ṯe nar Nānak nihfalėh. ||65|| Those whose souls are imbued with the world - O Nanak, their lives are fruitless. ||65|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਰਣੰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਰਮ ਜਿ ਪੂਰਣਹ ॥ ब्रहमणह संगि उधरणं ब्रहम करम जि पूरणह ॥ Barahmaṇėh sang uḏẖarṇaʼn barahm karam jė pūrṇah. Associating with the Brahmin, one is saved, if his actions are perfect and God-like. ਲਉ ਲਈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਤਿਪਤਿ ਮਨ ਮਾਏ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤ ਸਿ ਸੂਕਰਹ ॥੬੬॥ लउ लई त्रिसना अतिपति मन माए करम करत सि सूकरह ॥६६॥ La▫o la▫ī ṯarisnā aṯipaṯ man mā▫e karam karaṯ sė sūkrah. ||66|| His desire for this and that is not satisfied; his mind is caught in Maya, and he is acting like a pig. ||66|| ਪਰ ਦਰਬ ਹਿਰਣੰ ਬਹੁ ਵਿਘਨ ਕਰਣੰ ਉਚਰਣੰ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਅ ਕਹ ॥ पर दरब हिरणं बहु विघन करणं उचरणं सरब जीअ कह ॥ Par ḏarab hirṇaʼn baho vigẖan karṇaʼn ucẖarṇaʼn sarab jī▫a kah. The mortal steals the wealth of others, and makes all sorts of problems; his preaching is only for his own livelihood. ਮਤੇ ਸਮੇਵ ਚਰਣੰ ਉਧਰਣੰ ਭੈ ਦੁਤਰਹ ॥ मते समेव चरणं उधरणं भै दुतरह ॥ Maṯe samev cẖarṇaʼn uḏẖarṇaʼn bẖai ḏuṯrah. Those who are intoxicated and absorbed in the Lord's Lotus Feet are saved from the terrifying world-ocean. ਅਨੇਕ ਪਾਤਿਕ ਹਰਣੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਮ ਨ ਸੰਸਯਹ ॥੬੭॥੪॥ अनेक पातिक हरणं नानक साध संगम न संसयह ॥६७॥४॥ Anek pāṯik harṇaʼn Nānak sāḏẖ sangam na sansyah. ||67||4|| Countless sins are destroyed, O Nanak, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; there is no doubt about this. ||67||4||
