ਕਲਿਆਨ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ कलिआन महला ५ ॥ Kali▫ān mėhlā 5. Kalyaan, Fifth Mehl: ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤਿ ਦਇਆਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਖੇ ॥ प्रानपति दइआल पुरख प्रभ सखे ॥ Parānpaṯ ḏa▫i▫āl purakẖ parabẖ sakẖe. The Lord of the Breath of Life, the Merciful Primal Lord God, is my Friend. ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨਿ ਕਲਿ ਕਾਲ ਜਾਲ ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਾਸਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਖੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ गरभ जोनि कलि काल जाल दुख बिनासनु हरि रखे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Garabẖ jon kal kāl jāl ḏukẖ bināsan har rakẖe. ||1|| rahā▫o. The Lord saves us from the womb of reincarnation and the noose of death in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga; He takes away our pain. ||1||Pause|| ਨਾਮ ਧਾਰੀ ਸਰਨਿ ਤੇਰੀ ॥ नाम धारी सरनि तेरी ॥ Nām ḏẖārī saran ṯerī. I enshrine the Naam, the Name of the Lord, within; I seek Your Sanctuary, Lord. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਇਆਲ ਟੇਕ ਮੇਰੀ ॥੧॥ प्रभ दइआल टेक मेरी ॥१॥ Parabẖ ḏa▫i▫āl tek merī. ||1|| O Merciful Lord God, You are my only Support. ||1|| ਅਨਾਥ ਦੀਨ ਆਸਵੰਤ ॥ अनाथ दीन आसवंत ॥ Anāth ḏīn āsvanṯ. You are the only Hope of the helpless, the meek and the poor. ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਨਹਿ ਮੰਤ ॥੨॥ नामु सुआमी मनहि मंत ॥२॥ Nām su▫āmī manėh manṯ. ||2|| Your Name, O my Lord and Master, is the Mantra of the mind. ||2|| ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਨੂ ॥ तुझ बिना प्रभ किछू न जानू ॥ Ŧujẖ binā parabẖ kicẖẖū na jānū. I know of nothing except You, God. ਸਰਬ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਤੁਮ ਪਛਾਨੂ ॥੩॥ सरब जुग महि तुम पछानू ॥३॥ Sarab jug mėh ṯum pacẖẖānū. ||3|| Throughout all the ages, I realize You. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਬਸੇ ਨਿਸਿ ਬਾਸਰੋ ॥ हरि मनि बसे निसि बासरो ॥ Har man base nis bāsro. O Lord, You dwell in my mind night and day. ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਸਰੋ ॥੪॥੪॥੭॥ गोबिंद नानक आसरो ॥४॥४॥७॥ Gobinḏ Nānak āsro. ||4||4||7|| The Lord of the Universe is Nanak's only Support. ||4||4||7||
