ਮਃ ੪ ॥ मः ४ ॥ Mėhlā 4. Fourth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਭਸ ਦਾ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ॥ हरि तूहै दाता सभस दा सभि जीअ तुम्हारे ॥ Har ṯūhai ḏāṯā sabẖas ḏā sabẖ jī▫a ṯumĥāre. Lord, You are the Great Giver of all; all beings are Yours. ਹਰਿ ਦਾਤੈ ਦਾਤਾਰਿ ਹਥੁ ਕਢਿਆ ਮੀਹੁ ਵੁਠਾ ਸੈਸਾਰੇ ॥ हरि दातै दातारि हथु कढिआ मीहु वुठा सैसारे ॥ Har ḏāṯai ḏāṯār hath kadẖi▫ā mīhu vuṯẖā saisāre. The Generous Lord, the Great Giver reaches out with His Hands, and the rain pours down on the world. ਸਭਿ ਤੁਧੈ ਨੋ ਆਰਾਧਦੇ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਹਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ सभि तुधै नो आराधदे दानु देहि पिआरे ॥ Sabẖ ṯuḏẖai no ārāḏẖaḏe ḏān ḏėh pi▫āre. They all worship You in adoration; You bless them with Your Bounty, O Beloved. ਅੰਨੁ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਖੇਤੀ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੇ ॥ अंनु जमिआ खेती भाउ करि हरि नामु सम्हारे ॥ Ann jammi▫ā kẖeṯī bẖā▫o kar har nām samĥāre. The corn germinates in the fields; contemplate the Lord's Name with love. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮੰਗੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੇ ॥੨॥ जनु नानकु मंगै दानु प्रभ हरि नामु अधारे ॥२॥ Jan Nānak mangai ḏān parabẖ har nām aḏẖāre. ||2|| Servant Nanak begs for the Gift of the Support of the Name of his Lord God. ||2||
