ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਆਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥ चरन सरन दइआल ठाकुर आन नाही जाइ ॥ Cẖaran saran ḏa▫i▫āl ṯẖākur ān nāhī jā▫e. I seek the Sanctuary of the Feet of my Merciful Lord and Master; I do not go anywhere else. ਕਾਨੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ कानड़ा महला ५ ॥ Kānṛā mėhlā 5. Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl: ਸੈਸਾਰ ਗਾਰ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਪਤਿਤ ਮੋਹ ਮਾਨ ਅੰਧ ॥ सैसार गार बिकार सागर पतित मोह मान अंध ॥ Saisār gār bikār sāgar paṯiṯ moh mān anḏẖ. The world is a swamp of wickedness and corruption. The blind sinner has fallen into the ocean of emotional attachment and pride, ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਉਧਰਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ पतित पावन बिरदु सुआमी उधरते हरि धिआइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Paṯiṯ pāvan biraḏ su▫āmī uḏẖraṯe har ḏẖi▫ā▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o. It is the Inherent Nature of our Lord and Master to purify sinners. Those who meditate on the Lord are saved. ||1||Pause|| ਬਿਕਲ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੰਗਿ ਧੰਧ ॥ बिकल माइआ संगि धंध ॥ Bikal mā▫i▫ā sang ḏẖanḏẖ. bewildered by the entanglements of Maya. ਕਰੁ ਗਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪਿ ਕਾਢਹੁ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਰਾਇ ॥੧॥ करु गहे प्रभ आपि काढहु राखि लेहु गोबिंद राइ ॥१॥ Kar gahe parabẖ āp kādẖahu rākẖ leho gobinḏ rā▫e. ||1|| God Himself has taken me by the hand and lifted me up and out of it; save me, O Sovereign Lord of the Universe. ||1|| ਅਨਾਥ ਨਾਥ ਸਨਾਥ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੋਟਿ ਪਾਪ ਬਿਨਾਸ ॥ अनाथ नाथ सनाथ संतन कोटि पाप बिनास ॥ Anāth nāth sanāth sanṯan kot pāp binās. He is the Master of the masterless, the Supporting Lord of the Saints, the Neutralizer of millions of sins. ਮਨਿ ਦਰਸਨੈ ਕੀ ਪਿਆਸ ॥ मनि दरसनै की पिआस ॥ Man ḏarsanai kī pi▫ās. My mind thirsts for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਨਤਾਸ ॥ प्रभ पूरन गुनतास ॥ Parabẖ pūran gunṯās. God is the Perfect Treasure of Virtue. ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਗੁਪਾਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇ ॥੨॥੨॥੪੧॥ क्रिपाल दइआल गुपाल नानक हरि रसना गुन गाइ ॥२॥२॥४१॥ Kirpāl ḏa▫i▫āl gupāl Nānak har rasnā gun gā▫e. ||2||2||41|| O Nanak, sing and savor the Glorious Praises of the Lord, the Kind and Compassionate Lord of the World. ||2||2||41||
