Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl: ਆਸ ਪਿਆਸ ਸਫਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਉਮਗਿ ਹੀਉ ਤਰਸਨਾ ॥੧॥ आस पिआस सफल मूरति उमगि हीउ तरसना ॥१॥ Aas pi▫aas safal mooraṫ umag hee▫o ṫarsanaa. ||1|| I hope and thirst for Your wish-fulfilling image; my heart yearns and longs for You. ||1|| ਦੀਨ ਲੀਨ ਪਿਆਸ ਮੀਨ ਸੰਤਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਨਾ ॥ दीन लीन पिआस मीन संतना हरि संतना ॥ Ḋeen leen pi▫aas meen sanṫnaa har sanṫnaa. The meek and humble Saints are like thirsty fish; the Saints of the Lord are absorbed in Him. ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਨਾ ਕੀ ਰੇਨ ॥ हरि संतना की रेन ॥ Har sanṫnaa kee rén. I am the dust of the feet of the Lord’s Saints. ਹੀਉ ਅਰਪਿ ਦੇਨ ॥ हीउ अरपि देन ॥ Hee▫o arap ḋén. I dedicate my heart to them. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਕਿਰਪੇਨ ॥ प्रभ भए है किरपेन ॥ Parabʰ bʰa▫é hæ kirpén. God has become Merciful to me. ਮਾਨੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਛੋਡਿਓ ਤਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਭੇਟਨਾ ॥੨॥੨॥੩੫॥ मानु मोहु तिआगि छोडिओ तउ नानक हरि जीउ भेटना ॥२॥२॥३५॥ Maan moh ṫi▫aag chʰodi▫o ṫa▫o Naanak har jee▫o bʰétnaa. ||2||2||35|| Renouncing pride and leaving behind emotional attachment, O Nanak! One meets with the Dear Lord. ||2||2||35||
