Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl: ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਆਨ ਲਾਗਹਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੋ ਡਾਰਿ ਭੂਮਿ ਪਾਗਹਿ ॥ गोबिंद तिआगि आन लागहि अम्रितो डारि भूमि पागहि ॥ Gobinḏ ṯi▫āg ān lāgėh amriṯo dār bẖūm pāgėh. You have forsaken the Lord of the Universe, and become attached to another - you are throwing away the Ambrosial Nectar, to take dust. ਹਰਿ ਬਿਸਰਤੇ ਹੀ ਹਾਨਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि बिसरते ही हानि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har bisraṯe hī hān. ||1|| rahā▫o. - forgetting the Lord, all is lost. ||1||Pause|| ਬਿਖੈ ਰਸ ਸਿਉ ਆਸਕਤ ਮੂੜੇ ਕਾਹੇ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਨਿ ॥੧॥ बिखै रस सिउ आसकत मूड़े काहे सुख मानि ॥१॥ Bikẖai ras si▫o āskaṯ mūṛe kāhe sukẖ mān. ||1|| What do you expect from corrupt pleasures? You fool! What makes you think that they will bring peace? ||1|| ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰਨਿ ਆਇਓ ਉਧਰੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾਨਿ ॥੨॥੧੨॥੩੧॥ पतित पावन सरनि आइओ उधरु नानक जानि ॥२॥१२॥३१॥ Paṯiṯ pāvan saran ā▫i▫o uḏẖar Nānak jān. ||2||12||31|| But I have entered the Sanctuary of the Purifier of sinners. O Nanak, I know that I shall be saved. ||2||12||31|| ਕਾਮਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿ ਲੋਭਿ ਬਿਆਪਿਓ ਜਨਮ ਹੀ ਕੀ ਖਾਨਿ ॥ कामि क्रोधि लोभि बिआपिओ जनम ही की खानि ॥ Kām kroḏẖ lobẖ bi▫āpi▫o janam hī kī kẖān. Engrossed in unfulfilled sexual desire, unresolved anger and greed, you shall be consigned to reincarnation.
