ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਅੰਤੇ ਹੋਇ ਸਖਾਈ ॥ अम्रित नामु सदा सुखदाता अंते होइ सखाई ॥ Amriṯ nām saḏā sukẖ▫ḏāṯa anṯe ho▫e sakẖā▫ī. The Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, is forever the Giver of peace. It shall be your Help and Support in the end. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਬਾਝੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਜਗਤੁ ਬਉਰਾਨਾ ਨਾਵੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥ बाझु गुरू जगतु बउराना नावै सार न पाई ॥ Bājẖ gurū jagaṯ ba▫urānā nāvai sār na pā▫ī. Without the Guru, the world is insane. It does not appreciate the worth of the Name. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸੇ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥ सतिगुरु सेवहि से परवाणु जिन्ह जोती जोति मिलाई ॥ Saṯgur sevėh se parvāṇ jinĥ joṯī joṯ milā▫ī. Those who serve the True Guru are accepted and approved. Their light merges into the Light. ਸੋ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸੋ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਤੇਹਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਈ ॥ सो साहिबु सो सेवकु तेहा जिसु भाणा मंनि वसाई ॥ So sāhib so sevak ṯehā jis bẖāṇā man vasā▫ī. That servant who enshrines the Lord's Will within his mind, becomes just like his Lord and Master. ਆਪਣੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਕਹੁ ਕਿਨਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਅੰਧਾ ਅੰਧੁ ਕਮਾਈ ॥ आपणै भाणै कहु किनि सुखु पाइआ अंधा अंधु कमाई ॥ Āpṇai bẖāṇai kaho kin sukẖ pā▫i▫ā anḏẖā anḏẖ kamā▫ī. Tell me, who has ever found peace by following his own will? The blind act in blindness. ਬਿਖਿਆ ਕਦੇ ਹੀ ਰਜੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਭੁਖ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥ बिखिआ कदे ही रजै नाही मूरख भुख न जाई ॥ Bikẖi▫ā kaḏe hī rajai nāhī mūrakẖ bẖukẖ na jā▫ī. No one is ever satisfied and fulfilled by evil and corruption. The hunger of the fool is not satisfied. ਦੂਜੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਲਗਿ ਵਿਗੁਤਾ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬੂਝ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥ दूजै सभु को लगि विगुता बिनु सतिगुर बूझ न पाई ॥ Ḏūjai sabẖ ko lag viguṯā bin saṯgur būjẖ na pā▫ī. Attached to duality, all are ruined; without the True Guru, there is no understanding. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੇ ਸੋ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਰਜਾਈ ॥੨੦॥ सतिगुरु सेवे सो सुखु पाए जिस नो किरपा करे रजाई ॥२०॥ Saṯgur seve so sukẖ pā▫e jis no kirpā kare rajā▫ī. ||20|| Those who serve the True Guru find peace; they are blessed with Grace by the Will of the Lord. ||20||
