ਸਚਾ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਇਕੋ ਤੂ ਧਣੀ ॥ सचा वेपरवाहु इको तू धणी ॥ Sachaa véparvaahu iko ṫoo ḋʰaṇee. O True and Independent Lord God, You alone are my Lord and Master. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਮਾਣਸ ਕੂੜਾ ਗਰਬੁ ਸਚੀ ਤੁਧੁ ਮਣੀ ॥ माणस कूड़ा गरबु सची तुधु मणी ॥ Maaṇas kooṛaa garab sachee ṫuḋʰ maṇee. False is the pride of man. True is Your glorious greatness. ਤੂ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਕਿਸੁ ਗਣੀ ॥ तू सभु किछु आपे आपि दूजे किसु गणी ॥ Ṫoo sabʰ kichʰ aapé aap ḋoojé kis gaṇee. You Yourself are everything; who else is of any account? ਆਵਾ ਗਉਣੁ ਰਚਾਇ ਉਪਾਈ ਮੇਦਨੀ ॥ आवा गउणु रचाइ उपाई मेदनी ॥ Aavaa ga▫oṇ rachaa▫é upaa▫ee méḋnee. Coming and going in reincarnation, the beings and species of the world came into being. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਇਆ ਤਿਸੁ ਗਣੀ ॥ सतिगुरु सेवे आपणा आइआ तिसु गणी ॥ Saṫgur sévé aapṇaa aa▫i▫aa ṫis gaṇee. But if the mortal serves his True Guru, his coming into the world is judged to be worthwhile. ਜੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਜਾਇ ਤ ਕੇਹੀ ਗਣਤ ਗਣੀ ॥ जे हउमै विचहु जाइ त केही गणत गणी ॥ Jé ha▫umæ vichahu jaa▫é ṫa kéhee gaṇaṫ gaṇee. And if he eradicates egotism from within himself, then how can he be judged? ਮਨਮੁਖ ਮੋਹਿ ਗੁਬਾਰਿ ਜਿਉ ਭੁਲਾ ਮੰਝਿ ਵਣੀ ॥ मनमुख मोहि गुबारि जिउ भुला मंझि वणी ॥ Manmukʰ mohi gubaar ji▫o bʰulaa manjʰ vaṇee. The self-willed Manmukh is lost in the darkness of emotional attachment, like the man lost in the wilderness. ਕਟੇ ਪਾਪ ਅਸੰਖ ਨਾਵੈ ਇਕ ਕਣੀ ॥੧੧॥ कटे पाप असंख नावै इक कणी ॥११॥ Katé paap asaⁿkʰ naavæ ik kaṇee. ||11|| Countless sins are erased, by even a tiny particle of the Lord’s Name. ||11||
