ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਚਾ ਸਚੁ ਤੂ ਸਚੇ ਲੈਹਿ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥ हरि जीउ सचा सचु तू सचे लैहि मिलाइ ॥ Har jī▫o sacẖā sacẖ ṯū sacẖe laihi milā▫e. O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. You blend those who are truthful into Your Own Being. ਦੂਜੈ ਦੂਜੀ ਤਰਫ ਹੈ ਕੂੜਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਾਇ ॥ दूजै दूजी तरफ है कूड़ि मिलै न मिलिआ जाइ ॥ Ḏūjai ḏūjī ṯaraf hai kūṛ milai na mili▫ā jā▫e. Those caught in duality are on the side of duality; entrenched in falsehood, they cannot merge into the Lord. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਆਪੇ ਜੋੜਿ ਵਿਛੋੜਿਐ ਆਪੇ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਦੇਇ ਦਿਖਾਇ ॥ आपे जोड़ि विछोड़िऐ आपे कुदरति देइ दिखाइ ॥ Āpe joṛ vicẖẖoṛi▫ai āpe kuḏraṯ ḏe▫e ḏikẖā▫e. You Yourself unite, and You Yourself separate; You display Your Creative Omnipotence. ਮੋਹੁ ਸੋਗੁ ਵਿਜੋਗੁ ਹੈ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਕਮਾਇ ॥ मोहु सोगु विजोगु है पूरबि लिखिआ कमाइ ॥ Moh sog vijog hai pūrab likẖi▫ā kamā▫e. Attachment brings the sorrow of separation; the mortal acts in accordance with pre-ordained destiny. ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣੀ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥ हउ बलिहारी तिन कउ जो हरि चरणी रहै लिव लाइ ॥ Ha▫o balihārī ṯin ka▫o jo har cẖarṇī rahai liv lā▫e. I am a sacrifice to those who remain lovingly attached to the Lord's Feet. ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਮਹਿ ਕਮਲੁ ਅਲਿਪਤੁ ਹੈ ਐਸੀ ਬਣਤ ਬਣਾਇ ॥ जिउ जल महि कमलु अलिपतु है ऐसी बणत बणाइ ॥ Ji▫o jal mėh kamal alipaṯ hai aisī baṇaṯ baṇā▫e. They are like the lotus which remains detached, floating upon the water. ਸੇ ਸੁਖੀਏ ਸਦਾ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥ से सुखीए सदा सोहणे जिन्ह विचहु आपु गवाइ ॥ Se sukẖī▫e saḏā sohṇe jinĥ vicẖahu āp gavā▫e. They are peaceful and beautiful forever; they eradicate self-conceit from within. ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਸੋਗੁ ਵਿਜੋਗੁ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੭॥ तिन्ह सोगु विजोगु कदे नही जो हरि कै अंकि समाइ ॥७॥ Ŧinĥ sog vijog kaḏe nahī jo har kai ank samā▫e. ||7|| They never suffer sorrow or separation; they are merged in the Being of the Lord. ||7||
