ਆਪੀਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੈ ਆਪੁ ਸਾਜਿ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ॥ आपीन्है आपु साजि आपु पछाणिआ ॥ Āpīnĥai āp sāj āp pacẖẖāṇi▫ā. He Himself created Himself; He Himself understands Himself. ਅੰਬਰੁ ਧਰਤਿ ਵਿਛੋੜਿ ਚੰਦੋਆ ਤਾਣਿਆ ॥ अम्बरु धरति विछोड़ि चंदोआ ताणिआ ॥ Ambar ḏẖaraṯ vicẖẖoṛ cẖanḏo▫ā ṯāṇi▫ā. Separating the sky and the earth, He has spread out His canopy. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਵਿਣੁ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਗਗਨੁ ਰਹਾਇ ਸਬਦੁ ਨੀਸਾਣਿਆ ॥ विणु थम्हा गगनु रहाइ सबदु नीसाणिआ ॥ viṇ thamĥā gagan rahā▫e sabaḏ nīsāṇi▫ā. Without any pillars, He supports the sky, through the insignia of His Shabad. ਸੂਰਜੁ ਚੰਦੁ ਉਪਾਇ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਣਿਆ ॥ सूरजु चंदु उपाइ जोति समाणिआ ॥ Sūraj cẖanḏ upā▫e joṯ samāṇi▫ā. Creating the sun and the moon, He infused His Light into them. ਕੀਏ ਰਾਤਿ ਦਿਨੰਤੁ ਚੋਜ ਵਿਡਾਣਿਆ ॥ कीए राति दिनंतु चोज विडाणिआ ॥ Kī▫e rāṯ ḏinanṯ cẖoj vidāṇi▫ā. He created the night and the day; Wondrous are His miraculous plays. ਤੀਰਥ ਧਰਮ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਨਾਵਣ ਪੁਰਬਾਣਿਆ ॥ तीरथ धरम वीचार नावण पुरबाणिआ ॥ Ŧirath ḏẖaram vīcẖār nāvaṇ purbāṇi▫ā. He created the sacred shrines of pilgrimage, where people contemplate righteousness and Dharma, and take cleansing baths on special occasions. ਤੁਧੁ ਸਰਿ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ਕਿ ਆਖਿ ਵਖਾਣਿਆ ॥ तुधु सरि अवरु न कोइ कि आखि वखाणिआ ॥ Ŧuḏẖ sar avar na ko▫e kė ākẖ vakẖāṇi▫ā. There is no other equal to You; how can we speak and describe You? ਸਚੈ ਤਖਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ਹੋਰ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ सचै तखति निवासु होर आवण जाणिआ ॥१॥ Sacẖai ṯakẖaṯ nivās hor āvaṇ jāṇi▫ā. ||1|| You are seated on the throne of Truth; all others come and go in reincarnation. ||1|| ਨਾਗਾਂ ਮਿਰਗਾਂ ਮਛੀਆਂ ਰਸੀਆਂ ਘਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ नागां मिरगां मछीआं रसीआं घरि धनु होइ ॥१॥ Nāgāʼn mirgāʼn macẖẖī▫āʼn rasī▫āʼn gẖar ḏẖan ho▫e. ||1|| the snake, the deer, the fish and the wealthy people who seek pleasure. ||1|| ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਵਣਿ ਜੇ ਵਸੈ ਚਹੁ ਓਮਾਹਾ ਹੋਇ ॥ नानक सावणि जे वसै चहु ओमाहा होइ ॥ Nānak sāvaṇ je vasai cẖahu omāhā ho▫e.
