ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਹਉ ਚੇਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ तेरे संतन की हउ चेरी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ŧere sanṯan kī ha▫o cẖerī. ||1|| rahā▫o. I am the humble slave of Your Saints. ||1||Pause|| ਰਾਜਾਸ੍ਰਮ ਮਿਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨੀ ਤੇਰੀ ॥ राजास्रम मिति नही जानी तेरी ॥ Rājāsaram miṯ nahī jānī ṯerī. I do not know the limits of Your Royal Ashram. ਬਸਤੋ ਹੋਇ ਹੋਇ ਸੋੁ ਊਜਰੁ ਊਜਰੁ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਬਸੈ ॥੧॥ बसतो होइ होइ सो ऊजरु ऊजरु होइ सु बसै ॥१॥ Basṯo ho▫e ho▫e so ūjar ūjar ho▫e so basai. ||1|| What is inhabited becomes deserted, and what is deserted becomes inhabited. ||1|| ਹਸਤੋ ਜਾਇ ਸੁ ਰੋਵਤੁ ਆਵੈ ਰੋਵਤੁ ਜਾਇ ਸੁ ਹਸੈ ॥ हसतो जाइ सु रोवतु आवै रोवतु जाइ सु हसै ॥ Hasṯo jā▫e so rovaṯ āvai rovaṯ jā▫e so hasai. The one who goes laughing returns crying, and the one who goes crying returns laughing. ਜਲ ਤੇ ਥਲ ਕਰਿ ਥਲ ਤੇ ਕੂਆ ਕੂਪ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੁ ਕਰਾਵੈ ॥ जल ते थल करि थल ते कूआ कूप ते मेरु करावै ॥ Jal ṯe thal kar thal ṯe kū▫ā kūp ṯe mer karāvai. The water turns into a desert, the desert turns into a well, and the well turns into a mountain. ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਆਕਾਸਿ ਚਢਾਵੈ ਚਢੇ ਅਕਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਵੈ ॥੨॥ धरती ते आकासि चढावै चढे अकासि गिरावै ॥२॥ Ḏẖarṯī ṯe ākās cẖadẖāvai cẖadẖe akās girāvai. ||2|| From the earth, the mortal is exalted to the Akaashic ethers; and from the ethers on high, he is thrown down again. ||2|| ਭੇਖਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਰਾਜੁ ਕਰਾਵੈ ਰਾਜਾ ਤੇ ਭੇਖਾਰੀ ॥ भेखारी ते राजु करावै राजा ते भेखारी ॥ Bẖekẖārī ṯe rāj karāvai rājā ṯe bẖekẖārī. The beggar is transformed into a king, and the king into a beggar. ਖਲ ਮੂਰਖ ਤੇ ਪੰਡਿਤੁ ਕਰਿਬੋ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਤੇ ਮੁਗਧਾਰੀ ॥੩॥ खल मूरख ते पंडितु करिबो पंडित ते मुगधारी ॥३॥ Kẖal mūrakẖ ṯe pandiṯ karibo pandiṯ ṯe mugḏẖārī. ||3|| The idiotic fool is transformed into a Pandit, a religious scholar, and the Pandit into a fool. ||3|| ਨਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਕਰਾਵੈ ਪੁਰਖਨ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਨਾਰੀ ॥ नारी ते जो पुरखु करावै पुरखन ते जो नारी ॥ Nārī ṯe jo purakẖ karāvai purkẖan ṯe jo nārī. The woman is transformed into a man, and the men into women. ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥੪॥੨॥ कहु कबीर साधू को प्रीतमु तिसु मूरति बलिहारी ॥४॥२॥ Kaho Kabīr sāḏẖū ko parīṯam ṯis mūraṯ balihārī. ||4||2|| Says Kabeer, God is the Beloved of the Holy Saints.
