ਬਦਹੁ ਕੀ ਨ ਹੋਡ ਮਾਧਉ ਮੋ ਸਿਉ ॥ बदहु की न होड माधउ मो सिउ ॥ Baḋahu kee na hod maaḋʰa▫o mo si▫o. Why not make a bet with me, O Lord of Wealth? ਠਾਕੁਰ ਤੇ ਜਨੁ ਜਨ ਤੇ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਖੇਲੁ ਪਰਿਓ ਹੈ ਤੋ ਸਿਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ठाकुर ते जनु जन ते ठाकुरु खेलु परिओ है तो सिउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Tʰaakur ṫé jan jan ṫé tʰaakur kʰél pari▫o hæ ṫo si▫o. ||1|| rahaa▫o. From the master comes the servant, and from the servant, comes the master. This is the game I play with You. ||1||Pause|| ਆਪਨ ਦੇਉ ਦੇਹੁਰਾ ਆਪਨ ਆਪ ਲਗਾਵੈ ਪੂਜਾ ॥ आपन देउ देहुरा आपन आप लगावै पूजा ॥ Aapan ḋé▫o ḋéhuraa aapan aap lagaavæ poojaa. You Yourself are the deity, and You are the temple of worship. You are the devoted worshiper. ਜਲ ਤੇ ਤਰੰਗ ਤਰੰਗ ਤੇ ਹੈ ਜਲੁ ਕਹਨ ਸੁਨਨ ਕਉ ਦੂਜਾ ॥੧॥ जल ते तरंग तरंग ते है जलु कहन सुनन कउ दूजा ॥१॥ Jal ṫé ṫarang ṫarang ṫé hæ jal kahan sunan ka▫o ḋoojaa. ||1|| From the water, the waves rise up, and from the waves, the water. They are only different by figures of speech. ||1|| ਆਪਹਿ ਗਾਵੈ ਆਪਹਿ ਨਾਚੈ ਆਪਿ ਬਜਾਵੈ ਤੂਰਾ ॥ आपहि गावै आपहि नाचै आपि बजावै तूरा ॥ Aapėh gaavæ aapėh naachæ aap bajaavæ ṫooraa. You Yourself sing, and You Yourself dance. You Yourself blow the bugle. ਕਹਤ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਜਨੁ ਊਰਾ ਤੂ ਪੂਰਾ ॥੨॥੨॥ कहत नामदेउ तूं मेरो ठाकुरु जनु ऊरा तू पूरा ॥२॥२॥ Kahaṫ naamḋé▫o ṫooⁿ méro tʰaakur jan ooraa ṫoo pooraa. ||2||2|| Says Namdev, You are my Lord and Master. Your humble servant is imperfect; You are perfect. ||2||2||
