ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹਿ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਹੇਤੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥ माइआ मोहि विसारिआ गुर का भउ हेतु अपारु ॥ Maa▫i▫aa mohi visaari▫aa gur kaa bʰa▫o héṫ apaar. Attached to Maya, the mortal forgets the Fear of God and Guru, and love for the Infinite Lord. ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ सलोक मः ३ ॥ Salok mėhlaa 3. Shalok, Third Mehl: ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਿਨਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥ गुरमुखि जिना सबदु मनि वसै दरगह मोख दुआरु ॥ Gurmukʰ jinaa sabaḋ man vasæ ḋargėh mokʰ ḋu▫aar. The Word of the Shabad abides in the mind of the Gurmukhs, who find the Gate of Salvation. ਲੋਭਿ ਲਹਰਿ ਸੁਧਿ ਮਤਿ ਗਈ ਸਚਿ ਨ ਲਗੈ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥ लोभि लहरि सुधि मति गई सचि न लगै पिआरु ॥ Lobʰ lahar suḋʰ maṫ ga▫ee sach na lagæ pi▫aar. The waves of greed take away his wisdom and understanding, and he does not embrace love for the True Lord. ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਲਏ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ नानक आपे मेलि लए आपे बखसणहारु ॥१॥ Naanak aapé mél la▫é aapé bakʰsaṇhaar. ||1|| O Nanak! The Lord Himself forgives them, and unites them in Union with Himself. ||1||
