ਗਾਇਓ ਰੀ ਮੈ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਇਓ ॥ गाइओ री मै गुण निधि मंगल गाइओ ॥ Gā▫i▫o rī mai guṇ niḏẖ mangal gā▫i▫o. I sing, O I sing the Songs of Joy of my Lord, the Treasure of Virtue. ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ सारग महला ५ ॥ Sārag mėhlā 5. Saarang, Fifth Mehl: ਭਲੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਭਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਅਉਸਰ ਜਉ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ਰੀਝਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ भले संजोग भले दिन अउसर जउ गोपालु रीझाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Bẖale sanjog bẖale ḏin a▫osar ja▫o gopāl rījẖā▫i▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o. Fortunate is the time, fortunate is the day and the moment, when I become pleasing to the Lord of the World. ||1||Pause|| ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਨ ਮੋਰਲੋ ਮਾਥਾ ॥ संतह चरन मोरलो माथा ॥ Sanṯėh cẖaran morlo māthā. I touch my forehead to the Feet of the Saints. ਹਮਰੇ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਸੰਤ ਧਰੇ ਹਾਥਾ ॥੧॥ हमरे मसतकि संत धरे हाथा ॥१॥ Hamre masṯak sanṯ ḏẖare hāthā. ||1|| The Saints have placed their hands on my forehead. ||1|| ਸਾਧਹ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਮੋਰਲੋ ਮਨੂਆ ॥ साधह मंत्रु मोरलो मनूआ ॥ Sāḏẖah manṯar morlo manū▫ā. My mind is filled with the Mantra of the Holy Saints, ਤਾ ਤੇ ਗਤੁ ਹੋਏ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਨੀਆ ॥੨॥ ता ते गतु होए त्रै गुनीआ ॥२॥ Ŧā ṯe gaṯ ho▫e ṯarai gunī▫ā. ||2|| and I have risen above the three qualities||2|| ਭਗਤਹ ਦਰਸੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਨੈਨ ਰੰਗਾ ॥ भगतह दरसु देखि नैन रंगा ॥ Bẖagṯah ḏaras ḏekẖ nain rangā. Gazing upon the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of God's devotees, my eyes are filled with love. ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਤੂਟੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਸੰਗਾ ॥੩॥ लोभ मोह तूटे भ्रम संगा ॥३॥ Lobẖ moh ṯūte bẖaram sangā. ||3|| Greed and attachment are gone, along with doubt. ||3|| ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਅਨੰਦਾ ॥ कहु नानक सुख सहज अनंदा ॥ Kaho Nānak sukẖ sahj ananḏā. Says Nanak, I have found intuitive peace, poise and bliss. ਖੋਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਭੀਤਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੪॥੧੪॥ खोल्हि भीति मिले परमानंदा ॥४॥१४॥ Kẖoliĥ bẖīṯ mile parmānanḏā. ||4||14|| Tearing down the wall, I have met the Lord, the Embodiment of Supreme Bliss. ||4||14||
