ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ सारग महला ४ ॥ Sārag mėhlā 4. Saarang, Fourth Mehl: ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨੀ ॥ मेरा मनु राम नामि मनु मानी ॥ Merā man rām nām man mānī. My mind is pleased and appeased by the Name of the Lord. ਮੇਰੈ ਹੀਅਰੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗਾਈ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਖਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ मेरै हीअरै सतिगुरि प्रीति लगाई मनि हरि हरि कथा सुखानी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Merai hī▫arai saṯgur parīṯ lagā▫ī man har har kathā sukẖānī. ||1|| rahā▫o. The True Guru has implanted divine love within my heart. The Sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, is pleasing to my mind. ||1||Pause|| ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਹੋਵਹੁ ਜਨ ਊਪਰਿ ਜਨ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਨੀ ॥ दीन दइआल होवहु जन ऊपरि जन देवहु अकथ कहानी ॥ Ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl hovhu jan ūpar jan ḏevhu akath kahānī. Please be merciful to Your meek and humble servant; please bless Your humble servant with Your Unspoken Speech. ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਮੀਠ ਲਗਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ संत जना मिलि हरि रसु पाइआ हरि मनि तनि मीठ लगानी ॥१॥ Sanṯ janā mil har ras pā▫i▫ā har man ṯan mīṯẖ lagānī. ||1|| Meeting with the humble Saints, I have found the sublime essence of the Lord. The Lord seems so sweet to my mind and body. ||1|| ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੇ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥ हरि कै रंगि रते बैरागी जिन्ह गुरमति नामु पछानी ॥ Har kai rang raṯe bairāgī jinĥ gurmaṯ nām pacẖẖānī. They alone are unattached, who are imbued with the Lord's Love; through the Guru's Teachings, they realize the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ਪੁਰਖੈ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਭ ਚੂਕੀ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੨॥ पुरखै पुरखु मिलिआ सुखु पाइआ सभ चूकी आवण जानी ॥२॥ Purkẖai purakẖ mili▫ā sukẖ pā▫i▫ā sabẖ cẖūkī āvaṇ jānī. ||2|| Meeting with the Primal Being, one finds peace, and one's comings and goings in reincarnation are ended. ||2|| ਨੈਣੀ ਬਿਰਹੁ ਦੇਖਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਨੀ ॥ नैणी बिरहु देखा प्रभ सुआमी रसना नामु वखानी ॥ Naiṇī birahu ḏekẖā parabẖ su▫āmī rasnā nām vakẖānī. With my eyes, I gaze lovingly upon God, my Lord and Master. I chant His Name with my tongue. ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੁਨਉ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਨੀ ॥੩॥ स्रवणी कीरतनु सुनउ दिनु राती हिरदै हरि हरि भानी ॥३॥ Sarvaṇī kīrṯan sun▫o ḏin rāṯī hirḏai har har bẖānī. ||3|| With my ears, I listen to the Kirtan of His Praises, day and night. I love the Lord, Har, Har, with all my heart. ||3|| ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੫॥ जन नानक हरि किरपा धारी हरि रामै नामि समानी ॥४॥५॥ Jan Nānak har kirpā ḏẖārī har rāmai nām samānī. ||4||5|| The Lord has showered His Mercy on servant Nanak; he merges in the Lord, in the Name of the Lord. ||4||5|| ਪੰਚ ਜਨਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਵਸਗਤਿ ਆਣੇ ਤਉ ਉਨਮਨਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਗਾਨੀ ॥ पंच जना गुरि वसगति आणे तउ उनमनि नामि लगानी ॥ Pancẖ janā gur vasgaṯ āṇe ṯa▫o unman nām lagānī. When the Guru helped me to overcome the five thieves, then I found ultimate bliss, attached to the Naam.
