ਬਸੰਤੁ ਚੜਿਆ ਫੂਲੀ ਬਨਰਾਇ ॥ बसंतु चड़िआ फूली बनराइ ॥ Basanṯ cẖaṛi▫ā fūlī banrā▫e. Spring has come, and all the plants are flowering. ਬਸੰਤੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ बसंतु महला ३ ॥ Basanṯ mėhlā 3. Basant, Third Mehl: ਏਹਿ ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਫੂਲਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥ एहि जीअ जंत फूलहि हरि चितु लाइ ॥१॥ Ėhi jī▫a janṯ fūlėh har cẖiṯ lā▫e. ||1|| These beings and creatures blossom forth when they focus their consciousness on the Lord. ||1|| ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਇ ॥ इन बिधि इहु मनु हरिआ होइ ॥ In biḏẖ ih man hari▫ā ho▫e. In this way, this mind is rejuvenated. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਕਢੈ ਧੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि हरि नामु जपै दिनु राती गुरमुखि हउमै कढै धोइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har har nām japai ḏin rāṯī gurmukẖ ha▫umai kadẖai ḏẖo▫e. ||1|| rahā▫o. Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, day and night, egotism is removed and washed away from the Gurmukhs. ||1||Pause|| ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਣਾਏ ॥ सतिगुर बाणी सबदु सुणाए ॥ Saṯgur baṇī sabaḏ suṇā▫e. The True Guru speaks the Bani of the Word, and the Shabad, the Word of God. ਇਹੁ ਜਗੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭਾਏ ॥੨॥ इहु जगु हरिआ सतिगुर भाए ॥२॥ Ih jag hari▫ā saṯgur bẖā▫e. ||2|| This world blossoms forth in its greenery, through the love of the True Guru. ||2|| ਫਲ ਫੂਲ ਲਾਗੇ ਜਾਂ ਆਪੇ ਲਾਏ ॥ फल फूल लागे जां आपे लाए ॥ Fal fūl lāge jāʼn āpe lā▫e. The mortal blossoms forth in flower and fruit, when the Lord Himself so wills. ਮੂਲਿ ਲਗੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੩॥ मूलि लगै तां सतिगुरु पाए ॥३॥ Mūl lagai ṯāʼn saṯgur pā▫e. ||3|| He is attached to the Lord, the Primal Root of all, when he finds the True Guru. ||3|| ਆਪਿ ਬਸੰਤੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਸਭੁ ਵਾੜੀ ॥ आपि बसंतु जगतु सभु वाड़ी ॥ Āp basanṯ jagaṯ sabẖ vāṛī. The Lord Himself is the season of spring; the whole world is His Garden. ਨਾਨਕ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ ॥੪॥੫॥੧੭॥ नानक पूरै भागि भगति निराली ॥४॥५॥१७॥ Nānak pūrai bẖāg bẖagaṯ nirālī. ||4||5||17|| O Nanak, this most unique devotional worship comes only by perfect destiny. ||4||5||17||
