One Universal Creator God. Truth Is The Name. Creative Being Personified. No Fear. No Hatred. Image Of The Undying. Beyond Birth. Self-Existent. By Guru's Grace: ਪਰਫੜੁ ਚਿਤ ਸਮਾਲਿ ਸੋਇ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ॥੧॥ परफड़ु चित समालि सोइ सदा सदा गोबिंदु ॥१॥ Parfaṛ cẖiṯ samāl so▫e saḏā saḏā gobinḏ. ||1|| Blossom forth, O my consciousness, contemplating the Lord of the Universe, forever and ever. ||1|| ਮਾਹਾ ਮਾਹ ਮੁਮਾਰਖੀ ਚੜਿਆ ਸਦਾ ਬਸੰਤੁ ॥ माहा माह मुमारखी चड़िआ सदा बसंतु ॥ Māhā māh mumārkẖī cẖaṛi▫ā saḏā basanṯ. Among the months, blessed is this month, when spring always comes. ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ਮਨ ਗੁਣ ਵਿਚਿ ਗੁਣੁ ਲੈ ਸਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हउमै मारि बीचारि मन गुण विचि गुणु लै सारि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ha▫umai mār bīcẖār man guṇ vicẖ guṇ lai sār. ||1|| rahā▫o. Subdue your ego, and contemplate Him in your mind; gather in the virtues of the Sublime, Virtuous Lord. ||1||Pause|| ਭੋਲਿਆ ਹਉਮੈ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ॥ भोलिआ हउमै सुरति विसारि ॥ Bẖoli▫ā ha▫umai suraṯ visār. O ignorant one, forget your egotistical intellect. ਕਰਮ ਪੇਡੁ ਸਾਖਾ ਹਰੀ ਧਰਮੁ ਫੁਲੁ ਫਲੁ ਗਿਆਨੁ ॥ करम पेडु साखा हरी धरमु फुलु फलु गिआनु ॥ Karam ped sākẖā harī ḏẖaram ful fal gi▫ān. Karma is the tree, the Lord's Name the branches, Dharmic faith the flowers, and spiritual wisdom the fruit. ਪਤ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਛਾਵ ਘਣੀ ਚੂਕਾ ਮਨ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥੨॥ पत परापति छाव घणी चूका मन अभिमानु ॥२॥ Paṯ parāpaṯ cẖẖāv gẖaṇī cẖūkā man abẖimān. ||2|| Realization of the Lord are the leaves, and eradication of the pride of the mind is the shade. ||2|| ਅਖੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੰਨੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਆਖਣੁ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ॥ अखी कुदरति कंनी बाणी मुखि आखणु सचु नामु ॥ Akẖī kuḏraṯ kannī baṇī mukẖ ākẖaṇ sacẖ nām. Whoever sees the Lord's Creative Power with his eyes, and hears the Guru's Bani with his ears, and utters the True Name with his mouth, ਪਤਿ ਕਾ ਧਨੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਆ ਲਾਗਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥੩॥ पति का धनु पूरा होआ लागा सहजि धिआनु ॥३॥ Paṯ kā ḏẖan pūrā ho▫ā lāgā sahj ḏẖi▫ān. ||3|| attains the perfect wealth of honor, and intuitively focuses his meditation on the Lord. ||3|| ਮਾਹਾ ਰੁਤੀ ਆਵਣਾ ਵੇਖਹੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਇ ॥ माहा रुती आवणा वेखहु करम कमाइ ॥ Māhā ruṯī āvṇā vekẖhu karam kamā▫e. The months and the seasons come; see, and do your deeds. ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰੇ ਨ ਸੂਕਹੀ ਜਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੪॥੧॥ नानक हरे न सूकही जि गुरमुखि रहे समाइ ॥४॥१॥ Nānak hare na sūkhī jė gurmukẖ rahe samā▫e. ||4||1|| O Nanak, those Gurmukhs who remain merged in the Lord do not wither away; they remain green forever. ||4||1|| ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਰਵਹਿ ਸਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਚਾਇ ॥ रंगि राते रवहि सि तेरै चाइ ॥ Rang rāṯe ravėh sė ṯerai cẖā▫e. Those who are imbued with love for You, O Lord, chant Your Name with joy. ਰੁਤਿ ਆਈਲੇ ਸਰਸ ਬਸੰਤ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ रुति आईले सरस बसंत माहि ॥ Ruṯ ā▫īle saras basanṯ māhi. The season of spring, so delightful, has come.
