ਦੁਇ ਕਰ ਜੋਰਿ ਕਰਉ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥ दुइ कर जोरि करउ अरदासि ॥ Ḏu▫e kar jor kara▫o arḏās. With my palms pressed together, I offer this prayer. ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ भैरउ महला ५ ॥ Bẖairo mėhlā 5. Bhairao, Fifth Mehl: ਸੋਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰੁ ॥ सोई मेरा सुआमी करनैहारु ॥ So▫ī merā su▫āmī karnaihār. He is the Creator, my Lord and Master. ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਧਨੁ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਰਾਸਿ ॥ जीउ पिंडु धनु तिस की रासि ॥ Jī▫o pind ḏẖan ṯis kī rās. My soul, body and wealth are His property. ਕੋਟਿ ਬਾਰ ਜਾਈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥੧॥ कोटि बार जाई बलिहार ॥१॥ Kot bār jā▫ī balihār. ||1|| Millions of times, I am a sacrifice to Him. ||1|| ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰਿ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਕਰੀ ॥ साधू धूरि पुनीत करी ॥ Sāḏẖū ḏẖūr punīṯ karī. The dust of the feet of the Holy brings purity. ਮਨ ਕੇ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੀ ਮੈਲੁ ਹਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ मन के बिकार मिटहि प्रभ सिमरत जनम जनम की मैलु हरी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Man ke bikār mitėh parabẖ simraṯ janam janam kī mail harī. ||1|| rahā▫o. Remembering God in meditation, the mind's corruption is eradicated, and the filth of countless incarnations is washed away. ||1||Pause|| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮਹਿ ਸਗਲ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥ जा कै ग्रिह महि सगल निधान ॥ Jā kai garih mėh sagal niḏẖān. All treasures are in His household. ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥ जा की सेवा पाईऐ मानु ॥ Jā kī sevā pā▫ī▫ai mān. Serving Him, the mortal attains honor. ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਨਹਾਰ ॥ सगल मनोरथ पूरनहार ॥ Sagal manorath pūranhār. He is the Fulfiller of the mind's desires. ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਭਗਤਨ ਆਧਾਰ ॥੨॥ जीअ प्रान भगतन आधार ॥२॥ Jī▫a parān bẖagṯan āḏẖār. ||2|| He is the Support of the soul and the breath of life of His devotees. ||2|| ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਗਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ॥ घट घट अंतरि सगल प्रगास ॥ Gẖat gẖat anṯar sagal pargās. His Light shines in each and every heart. ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵਹਿ ਭਗਤ ਗੁਣਤਾਸ ॥ जपि जपि जीवहि भगत गुणतास ॥ Jap jap jīvėh bẖagaṯ guṇṯās. Chanting and meditating on God, the Treasure of Virtue, His devotees live. ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਨ ਬਿਰਥੀ ਜਾਇ ॥ जा की सेव न बिरथी जाइ ॥ Jā kī sev na birthī jā▫e. Service to Him does not go in vain. ਮਨ ਤਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੩॥ मन तन अंतरि एकु धिआइ ॥३॥ Man ṯan anṯar ek ḏẖi▫ā▫e. ||3|| Deep within your mind and body, meditate on the One Lord. ||3|| ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਦਇਆ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ॥ गुर उपदेसि दइआ संतोखु ॥ Gur upḏes ḏa▫i▫ā sanṯokẖ. Following the Guru's Teachings, compassion and contentment are found. ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਇਹੁ ਥੋਕੁ ॥ नामु निधानु निरमलु इहु थोकु ॥ Nām niḏẖān nirmal ih thok. This Treasure of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the immaculate object. ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੪॥੪੨॥੫੫॥ चरन कमल नानक नित धिआइ ॥४॥४२॥५५॥ Cẖaran kamal Nānak niṯ ḏẖi▫ā▫e. ||4||42||55|| Nanak meditates continually on the Lord's Lotus Feet. ||4||42||55|| ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲੀਜੈ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਇ ॥ करि किरपा लीजै लड़ि लाइ ॥ Kar kirpā lījai laṛ lā▫e. Please grant Your Grace, O Lord, and attach me to the hem of Your robe.
