ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥ करण कारण समरथु गुरु मेरा ॥ Karaṇ kāraṇ samrath gur merā. My Guru is the All-powerful Lord, the Creator, the Cause of causes. ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ भैरउ महला ५ ॥ Bẖairo mėhlā 5. Bhairao, Fifth Mehl: ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਨੇਰਾ ॥ जीअ प्राण सुखदाता नेरा ॥ Jī▫a parāṇ sukẖ▫ḏāṯa nerā. He is the Soul, the Breath of Life, the Giver of Peace, always near. ਭੈ ਭੰਜਨ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਰਾਇ ॥ भै भंजन अबिनासी राइ ॥ Bẖai bẖanjan abẖināsī rā▫e. He is the Destroyer of fear, the Eternal, Unchanging, Sovereign Lord King. ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਰਣਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ बलि बलि जाई सतिगुर चरणा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Bal bal jā▫ī saṯgur cẖarṇā. ||1|| rahā▫o. I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Feet of the True Guru. ||1||Pause|| ਜਤ ਕਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾ ॥ जत कत पेखउ तेरी सरणा ॥ Jaṯ kaṯ pekẖa▫o ṯerī sarṇā. Wherever I look, is the Protection of Your Sanctuary. ਦਰਸਨਿ ਦੇਖਿਐ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ दरसनि देखिऐ सभु दुखु जाइ ॥१॥ Ḏarsan ḏekẖi▫ai sabẖ ḏukẖ jā▫e. ||1|| Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, all fear is dispelled. ||1|| ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮ ਮਿਲੇ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥ पूरन काम मिले गुरदेव ॥ Pūran kām mile gurḏev. My tasks are perfectly accomplished, meeting the Divine Guru. ਸਭਿ ਫਲਦਾਤਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੇਵ ॥ सभि फलदाता निरमल सेव ॥ Sabẖ falḏāṯā nirmal sev. He is the Giver of all rewards. Serving Him, I am immaculate. ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਲੀਨੇ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਦਾਸ ॥ करु गहि लीने अपुने दास ॥ Kar gėh līne apune ḏās. He reaches out with His Hand to His slaves. ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦ ਦੀਓ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥੨॥ राम नामु रिद दीओ निवास ॥२॥ Rām nām riḏ ḏī▫o nivās. ||2|| The Name of the Lord abides in their hearts. ||2|| ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਸੋਗੁ ॥ सदा अनंदु नाही किछु सोगु ॥ Saḏā anand nāhī kicẖẖ sog. They are forever in bliss, and do not suffer at all. ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਨਹ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਰੋਗੁ ॥ दूखु दरदु नह बिआपै रोगु ॥ Ḏūkẖ ḏaraḏ nah bi▫āpai rog. No pain, sorrow or disease afflicts them. ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੂ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰੁ ॥ सभु किछु तेरा तू करणैहारु ॥ Sabẖ kicẖẖ ṯerā ṯū karṇaihār. Everything is Yours, O Creator Lord. ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗੁਰ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੩॥ पारब्रहम गुर अगम अपार ॥३॥ Pārbarahm gur agam apār. ||3|| The Guru is the Supreme Lord God, the Inaccessible and Infinite. ||3|| ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਭਾ ਅਚਰਜ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ निरमल सोभा अचरज बाणी ॥ Nirmal sobẖā acẖraj baṇī. His Glorious Grandeur is immaculate, and the Bani of His Word is wonderful! ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਣੀ ॥ पारब्रहम पूरन मनि भाणी ॥ Pārbarahm pūran man bẖāṇī. The Perfect Supreme Lord God is pleasing to my mind. ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਰਵਿਆ ਸੋਇ ॥ जलि थलि महीअलि रविआ सोइ ॥ Jal thal mahī▫al ravi▫ā so▫e. He is permeating the waters, the lands and the skies. ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ਰਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਰਣੇ ॥ मनु तनु राता राम रंगि चरणे ॥ Man ṯan rāṯā rām rang cẖarṇe. My mind and body are imbued with the Love of the Lord's Feet. ਨਾਨਕ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੩੪॥੪੭॥ नानक सभु किछु प्रभ ते होइ ॥४॥३४॥४७॥ Nānak sabẖ kicẖẖ parabẖ ṯe ho▫e. ||4||34||47|| O Nanak, everything comes from God. ||4||34||47||
