ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ. One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਘਰੁ ੨ भैरउ महला ४ घरु २ Bẖairo mėhlā 4 gẖar 2 Bhairao, Fourth Mehl, Second House: ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਜਿਸੁ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥ हरि का संतु हरि की हरि मूरति जिसु हिरदै हरि नामु मुरारि ॥ Har kā sanṯ har kī har mūraṯ jis hirḏai har nām murār. The Lord's Saint is the embodiment of the Lord; within his heart is the Name of the Lord. ਮਸਤਕਿ ਭਾਗੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੋ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ मसतकि भागु होवै जिसु लिखिआ सो गुरमति हिरदै हरि नामु सम्हारि ॥१॥ Masṯak bẖāg hovai jis likẖi▫ā so gurmaṯ hirḏai har nām samĥār. ||1|| One who has such destiny inscribed on his forehead, follows the Guru's Teachings, and contemplates the Name of the Lord within his heart. ||1|| ਮਧੁਸੂਦਨੁ ਜਪੀਐ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥ मधुसूदनु जपीऐ उर धारि ॥ Maḏẖusūḏan japī▫ai ur ḏẖār. Enshrine Him in your heart, and meditate on the Lord. ਦੇਹੀ ਨਗਰਿ ਤਸਕਰ ਪੰਚ ਧਾਤੂ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਕਾਢੇ ਮਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ देही नगरि तसकर पंच धातू गुर सबदी हरि काढे मारि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Ḏehī nagar ṯaskar pancẖ ḏẖāṯū gur sabḏī har kādẖe mār. ||1|| rahā▫o. The five plundering thieves are in the body-village; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the Lord has beaten them and driven them out. ||1||Pause|| ਜਿਨ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਕਾਰਜ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥ जिन का हरि सेती मनु मानिआ तिन कारज हरि आपि सवारि ॥ Jin kā har seṯī man māni▫ā ṯin kāraj har āp savār. Those whose minds are satisfied with the Lord - the Lord Himself resolves their affairs. ਤਿਨ ਚੂਕੀ ਮੁਹਤਾਜੀ ਲੋਕਨ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਗੀਕਾਰੁ ਕੀਆ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥੨॥ तिन चूकी मुहताजी लोकन की हरि अंगीकारु कीआ करतारि ॥२॥ Ŧin cẖūkī muhṯājī lokan kī har angīkār kī▫ā karṯār. ||2|| Their subservience and their dependence on other people is ended; the Creator Lord is on their side. ||2|| ਮਤਾ ਮਸੂਰਤਿ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਜੈ ਜੇ ਕਿਛੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ॥ मता मसूरति तां किछु कीजै जे किछु होवै हरि बाहरि ॥ Maṯā masūraṯ ṯāʼn kicẖẖ kījai je kicẖẖ hovai har bāhar. If something were beyond the realm of the Lord's Power, only then would we have recourse to consult someone else. ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੋਈ ਭਲ ਹੋਸੀ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੩॥ जो किछु करे सोई भल होसी हरि धिआवहु अनदिनु नामु मुरारि ॥३॥ Jo kicẖẖ karai so▫ī bẖal hosī har ḏẖi▫āvahu an▫ḏin nām murār. ||3|| Whatever the Lord does is good. Meditate on the Name of the Lord, night and day. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪੇ ਓਹੁ ਪੂਛਿ ਨ ਕਿਸੈ ਕਰੇ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ॥ हरि जो किछु करे सु आपे आपे ओहु पूछि न किसै करे बीचारि ॥ Har jo kicẖẖ kare so āpe āpe oh pūcẖẖ na kisai kare bīcẖār. Whatever the Lord does, He does by Himself. He does not ask or consult anyone else. ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਜਿਨਿ ਮੇਲਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੪॥੧॥੫॥ नानक सो प्रभु सदा धिआईऐ जिनि मेलिआ सतिगुरु किरपा धारि ॥४॥१॥५॥ Nānak so parabẖ saḏā ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai jin meli▫ā saṯgur kirpā ḏẖār. ||4||1||5|| O Nanak, meditate forever on God; granting His Grace, He unites us with the True Guru. ||4||1||5||
