Kaydaaraa, Fifth Mehl: ਗੁਨ ਗੋੁਪਾਲ ਉਚਾਰੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਭਏ ਕਲਮਲ ਹਾਨ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ गुन गोपाल उचारु दिनु रैनि भए कलमल हान ॥ रहाउ ॥ Gun gopāl ucẖār ḏin rain bẖa▫e kalmal hān. Rahā▫o. Chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, day and night, your sins shall be eradicated. ||Pause|| ਤਿਆਗਿ ਚਲਨਾ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਪਤ ਕਾਲੁ ਸਿਰ ਪਰਿ ਜਾਨੁ ॥ तिआगि चलना सगल स्मपत कालु सिर परि जानु ॥ Ŧi▫āg cẖalnā sagal sampaṯ kāl sir par jān. You shall have to leave behind all your riches when you depart. Death is hanging over your head - know this well! ਮਿਥਨ ਮੋਹ ਦੁਰੰਤ ਆਸਾ ਝੂਠੁ ਸਰਪਰ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੧॥ मिथन मोह दुरंत आसा झूठु सरपर मानु ॥१॥ Mithan moh ḏuranṯ āsā jẖūṯẖ sarpar mān. ||1|| Transitory attachments and evil hopes are false. Surely you must believe this! ||1|| ਸਤਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਧਾਰਹੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥ सति पुरख अकाल मूरति रिदै धारहु धिआनु ॥ Saṯ purakẖ akāl mūraṯ riḏai ḏẖārahu ḏẖi▫ān. Within your heart, focus your meditation on the True Primal Being, Akaal Moorat, the Undying Form. ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਲਾਭੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਸਤੁ ਇਹ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥੨॥੩॥੧੧॥ नामु निधानु लाभु नानक बसतु इह परवानु ॥२॥३॥११॥ Nām niḏẖān lābẖ Nānak basaṯ ih parvān. ||2||3||11|| Only this profitable merchandise, the treasure of the Naam, O Nanak, shall be accepted. ||2||3||11||
