ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ. One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਰਾਗੁ ਮਾਰੂ ਬਾਣੀ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀਉ ਕੀ रागु मारू बाणी कबीर जीउ की Rāg mārū baṇī Kabīr jī▫o kī Raag Maaroo, The Word Of Kabeer Jee: ਬਿਨੁ ਭੈ ਅਨਭਉ ਹੋਇ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੧॥ बिनु भै अनभउ होइ वणाह्मबै ॥१॥ Bin bẖai anbẖa▫o ho▫e vaṇāhambai. ||1|| Without the Fear of God, how can the Fearless Lord be obtained? ||1|| ਸਹੁ ਹਦੂਰਿ ਦੇਖੈ ਤਾਂ ਭਉ ਪਵੈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ सहु हदूरि देखै तां भउ पवै बैरागीअड़े ॥ Saho haḏūr ḏekẖai ṯāʼn bẖa▫o pavai bairāgī▫aṛe. If one sees the Presence of his Husband Lord near at hand, then he feels the Fear of God, O renunciate. ਅਨਭਉ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ अनभउ किनै न देखिआ बैरागीअड़े ॥ Anbẖa▫o kinai na ḏekẖi▫ā bairāgī▫aṛe. No one has seen the Fearless Lord, O renunciate. ਹੁਕਮੈ ਬੂਝੈ ਤ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹੋਇ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੨॥ हुकमै बूझै त निरभउ होइ वणाह्मबै ॥२॥ Hukmai būjẖai ṯa nirbẖa▫o ho▫e vaṇāhambai. ||2|| If he realizes the Hukam of the Lord's Command, then he becomes fearless. ||2|| ਹਰਿ ਪਾਖੰਡੁ ਨ ਕੀਜਈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ हरि पाखंडु न कीजई बैरागीअड़े ॥ Har pakẖand na kīj▫ī bairāgī▫aṛe. Don't practice hypocrisy with the Lord, O renunciate! ਪਾਖੰਡਿ ਰਤਾ ਸਭੁ ਲੋਕੁ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੩॥ पाखंडि रता सभु लोकु वणाह्मबै ॥३॥ Pakẖand raṯā sabẖ lok vaṇāhambai. ||3|| The whole world is filled with hypocrisy. ||3|| ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਪਾਸੁ ਨ ਛੋਡਈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ त्रिसना पासु न छोडई बैरागीअड़े ॥ Ŧarisnā pās na cẖẖod▫ī bairāgī▫aṛe. Thirst and desire do not just go away, O renunciate. ਮਮਤਾ ਜਾਲਿਆ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੪॥ ममता जालिआ पिंडु वणाह्मबै ॥४॥ Mamṯā jāli▫ā pind vaṇāhambai. ||4|| The body is burning in the fire of worldly love and attachment. ||4|| ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜਾਲਿ ਤਨੁ ਜਾਲਿਆ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ चिंता जालि तनु जालिआ बैरागीअड़े ॥ Cẖinṯā jāl ṯan jāli▫ā bairāgī▫aṛe. Anxiety is burned, and the body is burned, O renunciate, ਜੇ ਮਨੁ ਮਿਰਤਕੁ ਹੋਇ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੫॥ जे मनु मिरतकु होइ वणाह्मबै ॥५॥ Je man mirṯak ho▫e vaṇāhambai. ||5|| only if one lets his mind become dead. ||5|| ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਬੈਰਾਗੁ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ सतिगुर बिनु बैरागु न होवई बैरागीअड़े ॥ Saṯgur bin bairāg na hova▫ī bairāgī▫aṛe. Without the True Guru, there can be no renunciation, ਕਰਮੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ करमु होवै सतिगुरु मिलै बैरागीअड़े ॥ Karam hovai saṯgur milai bairāgī▫aṛe. When God grants His Grace, one meets the True Guru, O renunciate, ਜੇ ਲੋਚੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੬॥ जे लोचै सभु कोइ वणाह्मबै ॥६॥ Je locẖai sabẖ ko▫e vaṇāhambai. ||6|| even though all the people may wish for it. ||6|| ਸਹਜੇ ਪਾਵੈ ਸੋਇ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੭॥ सहजे पावै सोइ वणाह्मबै ॥७॥ Sėhje pāvai so▫e vaṇāhambai. ||7|| and automatically, intuitively finds that Lord. ||7|| ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਇਕ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਬੈਰਾਗੀਅੜੇ ॥ कहु कबीर इक बेनती बैरागीअड़े ॥ Kaho Kabīr ik benṯī bairāgī▫aṛe. Says Kabeer, I offer this one prayer, O renunciate. ਮੋ ਕਉ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰਿ ਵਣਾਹੰਬੈ ॥੮॥੧॥੮॥ मो कउ भउजलु पारि उतारि वणाह्मबै ॥८॥१॥८॥ Mo ka▫o bẖa▫ojal pār uṯār vaṇāhambai. ||8||1||8|| Carry me across the terrifying world-ocean. ||8||1||8||
