ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਕ ॥ हरि जी माता हरि जी पिता हरि जीउ प्रतिपालक ॥ Har jee maaṫaa har jee piṫaa har jee▫o parṫipaalak. The Dear Lord is my mother, the Dear Lord is my father; the Dear Lord cherishes and nurtures me. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛee. Pauree: ਸਹਜੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਖਿਲਾਇਦਾ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਆਲਕ ॥ सहजे सहजि खिलाइदा नही करदा आलक ॥ Sėhjé sahj kʰilaa▫iḋaa nahee karḋaa aalak. Slowly and steadily, He feeds me; He never fails. ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਾਰ ਕਰੇ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਬਾਲਕ ॥ हरि जी मेरी सार करे हम हरि के बालक ॥ Har jee méree saar karé ham har ké baalak. The Dear Lord takes care of me; I am the child of the Lord. ਅਉਗਣੁ ਕੋ ਨ ਚਿਤਾਰਦਾ ਗਲ ਸੇਤੀ ਲਾਇਕ ॥ अउगणु को न चितारदा गल सेती लाइक ॥ A▫ugaṇ ko na chiṫaarḋaa gal séṫee laa▫ik. He does not remind me of my faults; He hugs me close in His embrace. ਮੁਹਿ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਸੋਈ ਦੇਵਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਇਕ ॥ मुहि मंगां सोई देवदा हरि पिता सुखदाइक ॥ Muhi mangaaⁿ so▫ee ḋévḋaa har piṫaa sukʰ▫ḋaa▫ik. Whatever I ask for, He gives me; the Lord is my peace-giving father. ਗਿਆਨੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਉਪਿਓਨੁ ਇਸੁ ਸਉਦੇ ਲਾਇਕ ॥ गिआनु रासि नामु धनु सउपिओनु इसु सउदे लाइक ॥ Gi▫aan raas naam ḋʰan sa▫opi▫on is sa▫uḋé laa▫ik. He has blessed me with the capital, the wealth of spiritual wisdom; He has made me worthy of this merchandise. ਸਾਝੀ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਲਿ ਬਹਾਲਿਆ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਕ ॥ साझी गुर नालि बहालिआ सरब सुख पाइक ॥ Saajʰee gur naal bahaali▫aa sarab sukʰ paa▫ik. He has made me a partner with the Guru; I have obtained all peace and comforts. ਮੈ ਨਾਲਹੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਵਿਛੁੜੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਸਭਨਾ ਗਲਾ ਲਾਇਕ ॥੨੧॥ मै नालहु कदे न विछुड़ै हरि पिता सभना गला लाइक ॥२१॥ Mæ naalahu kaḋé na vichʰuṛæ har piṫaa sabʰnaa galaa laa▫ik. ||21|| He is with me, and shall never separate from me; the Lord, my father, is potent to do everything. ||21||
