ਹਉ ਢਾਢੀ ਦਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਦਾ ਜੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ॥ हउ ढाढी दरि गुण गावदा जे हरि प्रभ भावै ॥ Ha▫o dẖādẖī ḏar guṇ gāvḏā je har parabẖ bẖāvai. I am a minstrel at His Door, singing His Glorious Praises, to please to my Lord God. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਥਿਰ ਥਾਵਰੀ ਹੋਰ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਵੈ ॥ प्रभु मेरा थिर थावरी होर आवै जावै ॥ Parabẖ merā thir thāvrī hor āvai jāvai. My God is permanent and stable; others continue coming and going. ਸੋ ਮੰਗਾ ਦਾਨੁ ਗੋੁਸਾਈਆ ਜਿਤੁ ਭੁਖ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਵੈ ॥ सो मंगा दानु गोसाईआ जितु भुख लहि जावै ॥ So mangā ḏān gosā▫ī▫ā jiṯ bẖukẖ lėh jāvai. I beg for that gift from the Lord of the World, which will satisfy my hunger. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਢਾਢੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਵੈ ॥ प्रभ जीउ देवहु दरसनु आपणा जितु ढाढी त्रिपतावै ॥ Parabẖ jī▫o ḏevhu ḏarsan āpṇā jiṯ dẖādẖī ṯaripṯāvai. O Dear Lord God, please bless Your minstrel with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, that I might be satisfied and fulfilled. ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਸੁਣੀ ਦਾਤਾਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਢਾਢੀ ਕਉ ਮਹਲਿ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥ अरदासि सुणी दातारि प्रभि ढाढी कउ महलि बुलावै ॥ Arḏās suṇī ḏāṯār parabẖ dẖādẖī ka▫o mahal bulāvai. God, the Great Giver, hears the prayer, and summons the minstrel to the Mansion of His Presence. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੇਖਦਿਆ ਦੁਖ ਭੁਖ ਗਈ ਢਾਢੀ ਕਉ ਮੰਗਣੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥ प्रभ देखदिआ दुख भुख गई ढाढी कउ मंगणु चिति न आवै ॥ Parabẖ ḏekẖ▫ḏi▫ā ḏukẖ bẖukẖ ga▫ī dẖādẖī ka▫o mangaṇ cẖiṯ na āvai. Gazing upon God, the minstrel is rid of pain and hunger; he does not think to ask for anything else. ਸਭੇ ਇਛਾ ਪੂਰੀਆ ਲਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਪਾਵੈ ॥ सभे इछा पूरीआ लगि प्रभ कै पावै ॥ Sabẖe icẖẖā pūrī▫ā lag parabẖ kai pāvai. All desires are fulfilled, touching the feet of God. ਹਉ ਨਿਰਗੁਣੁ ਢਾਢੀ ਬਖਸਿਓਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਵੇਦਾਵੈ ॥੯॥ हउ निरगुणु ढाढी बखसिओनु प्रभि पुरखि वेदावै ॥९॥ Ha▫o nirguṇ dẖādẖī bakẖsi▫on parabẖ purakẖ vaiḏāvai. ||9|| I am His humble, unworthy minstrel; the Primal Lord God has forgiven me. ||9||
