ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਤੂ ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਭੁ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥ तू सचा साहिबु सचु सचु सभु धारिआ ॥ Ŧū sacẖā sāhib sacẖ sacẖ sabẖ ḏẖāri▫ā. You are True, O my True Lord and Master; You uphold all that is true. ਹਰਿ ਆਗਿਆ ਹੋਏ ਬੇਦ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਿਆ ॥ हरि आगिआ होए बेद पापु पुंनु वीचारिआ ॥ Har āgi▫ā ho▫e beḏ pāp punn vīcẖāri▫ā. By the Will of the Lord, the Vedas came into being; they discriminate between sin and virtue. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਕੀਤੋ ਥਾਟੁ ਸਿਰਜਿ ਸੰਸਾਰਿਆ ॥ गुरमुखि कीतो थाटु सिरजि संसारिआ ॥ Gurmukẖ kīṯo thāt siraj sansāri▫ā. You created the world, making a place for the Gurmukhs. ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਮਹੇਸੁ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਬਿਸਥਾਰਿਆ ॥ ब्रहमा बिसनु महेसु त्रै गुण बिसथारिआ ॥ Barahmā bisan mahes ṯarai guṇ bisthāri▫ā. You created Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, and the expanse of the three qualities. ਨਵ ਖੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀ ਸਾਜਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥ नव खंड प्रिथमी साजि हरि रंग सवारिआ ॥ Nav kẖand parithmī sāj har rang savāri▫ā. Creating the world of the nine regions, O Lord, You have embellished it with beauty. ਵੇਕੀ ਜੰਤ ਉਪਾਇ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਕਲ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥ वेकी जंत उपाइ अंतरि कल धारिआ ॥ vekī janṯ upā▫e anṯar kal ḏẖāri▫ā. Creating the beings of various kinds, You infused Your power into them. ਤੇਰਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਕੋਇ ਸਚੁ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰਿਆ ॥ तेरा अंतु न जाणै कोइ सचु सिरजणहारिआ ॥ Ŧerā anṯ na jāṇai ko▫e sacẖ sirjaṇhāri▫ā. No one knows Your limit, O True Creator Lord. ਤੂ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਆਪਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ तू जाणहि सभ बिधि आपि गुरमुखि निसतारिआ ॥१॥ Ŧū jāṇėh sabẖ biḏẖ āp gurmukẖ nisṯāri▫ā. ||1|| You Yourself know all ways and means; You Yourself save the Gurmukhs. ||1||
