ਮਾਇਆ ਵੇਖਿ ਨ ਭੁਲੁ ਤੂ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਮੂਰਖਾ ॥ माइआ वेखि न भुलु तू मनमुख मूरखा ॥ Mā▫i▫ā vekẖ na bẖul ṯū manmukẖ mūrkẖā. Don't be fooled by gazing at the riches of Maya, you foolish self-willed manmukh. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਚਲਦਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ਨ ਚਲਈ ਸਭੁ ਝੂਠੁ ਦਰਬੁ ਲਖਾ ॥ चलदिआ नालि न चलई सभु झूठु दरबु लखा ॥ Cẖalḏi▫ā nāl na cẖal▫ī sabẖ jẖūṯẖ ḏarab lakẖā. It shall not go along with you when you must depart; all the wealth you see is false. ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਅੰਧੁ ਨ ਬੂਝਈ ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਜਮ ਖੜਗੁ ਕਲਖਾ ॥ अगिआनी अंधु न बूझई सिर ऊपरि जम खड़गु कलखा ॥ Agi▫ānī anḏẖ na būjẖ▫ī sir ūpar jam kẖaṛag kalkẖā. The blind and ignorant do not understand, that the sword of death is hanging over their heads. ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਉਬਰੇ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਚਖਾ ॥ गुर परसादी उबरे जिन हरि रसु चखा ॥ Gur parsādī ubre jin har ras cẖakẖā. By Guru's Grace, those who drink in the sublime essence of the Lord are saved. ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਏ ਕਰੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਖਾ ॥੩॥ आपि कराए करे आपि आपे हरि रखा ॥३॥ Āp karā▫e kare āp āpe har rakẖā. ||3|| He Himself is the Doer, and He Himself is the Cause; the Lord Himself is our Saving Grace. ||3||
