ਤਿਸੁ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਤੂੰ ਸੁਣਿਆ ॥ तिसु कुरबाणी जिनि तूं सुणिआ ॥ Ṫis kurbaaṇee jin ṫooⁿ suṇi▫aa. I am a sacrifice to those who have heard of You. ਮਾਝ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ माझ महला ५ ॥ Maajʰ mėhlaa 5. Maajh, Fifth Mehl: ਵਾਰਿ ਵਾਰਿ ਜਾਈ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਜੋ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਆਰਾਧੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥ वारि वारि जाई तिसु विटहु जो मनि तनि तुधु आराधे जीउ ॥१॥ vaar vaar jaa▫ee ṫis vitahu jo man ṫan ṫuḋʰ aaraaḋʰé jee▫o. ||1|| Again and again, I am a sacrifice to those who meditate on You with mind and body. ||1|| ਤਿਸੁ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਸਨਾ ਭਣਿਆ ॥ तिसु बलिहारी जिनि रसना भणिआ ॥ Ṫis balihaaree jin rasnaa bʰaṇi▫aa. I am a sacrifice to those whose tongues speak of You. ਤਿਸੁ ਚਰਣ ਪਖਾਲੀ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੈ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਚਾਲੈ ॥ तिसु चरण पखाली जो तेरै मारगि चालै ॥ Ṫis charaṇ pakʰaalee jo ṫéræ maarag chaalæ. I wash the feet of those who walk upon Your Path. ਨੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਲੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਇਆਲੈ ॥ नैन निहाली तिसु पुरख दइआलै ॥ Næn nihaalee ṫis purakʰ ḋa▫i▫aalæ. With my eyes, I long to behold those kind people. ਮਨੁ ਦੇਵਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸਾਜਨ ਜਿਨਿ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਲਾਧੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥ मनु देवा तिसु अपुने साजन जिनि गुर मिलि सो प्रभु लाधे जीउ ॥२॥ Man ḋévaa ṫis apuné saajan jin gur mil so parabʰ laaḋʰé jee▫o. ||2|| I offer my mind to those friends, who have met the Guru and found God. ||2|| ਸੇ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਤੁਮ ਜਾਣੇ ॥ से वडभागी जिनि तुम जाणे ॥ Sé vadbʰaagee jin ṫum jaaṇé. Very fortunate are those who know You. ਸਭ ਕੈ ਮਧੇ ਅਲਿਪਤ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੇ ॥ सभ कै मधे अलिपत निरबाणे ॥ Sabʰ kæ maḋʰé alipaṫ nirbaaṇé. In the midst of all, they remain detached and balanced in Nirvana. ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਨਿ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਤਰਿਆ ਸਗਲ ਦੂਤ ਉਨਿ ਸਾਧੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥ साध कै संगि उनि भउजलु तरिआ सगल दूत उनि साधे जीउ ॥३॥ Saaḋʰ kæ sang un bʰa▫ojal ṫari▫aa sagal ḋooṫ un saaḋʰé jee▫o. ||3|| In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, they cross over the terrifying world-ocean, and conquer all their evil passions. ||3|| ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥ तिन की सरणि परिआ मनु मेरा ॥ Ṫin kee saraṇ pari▫aa man méraa. My mind has entered their Sanctuary. ਮਾਣੁ ਤਾਣੁ ਤਜਿ ਮੋਹੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ॥ माणु ताणु तजि मोहु अंधेरा ॥ Maaṇ ṫaaṇ ṫaj moh anḋʰéraa. I have renounced my pride in my own strength, and the darkness of emotional attachment. ਨਾਮੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਗਮ ਅਗਾਧੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੨੦॥੨੭॥ नामु दानु दीजै नानक कउ तिसु प्रभ अगम अगाधे जीउ ॥४॥२०॥२७॥ Naam ḋaan ḋeejæ Naanak ka▫o ṫis parabʰ agam agaaḋʰé jee▫o. ||4||20||27|| Please bless Nanak with the Gift of the Naam, the Name of the Inaccessible and Unfathomable God. ||4||20||27||
