ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਖੇ ਚੀਤਿ ॥ चरन कमल प्रभ राखे चीति ॥ Cẖaran kamal parabẖ rākẖe cẖīṯ. I have enshrined the lotus feet of God within my consciousness. ਮਾਰੂ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ मारू महला ५ ॥ Mārū mėhlā 5. Maaroo, Fifth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹ ਨੀਤਾ ਨੀਤ ॥ हरि गुण गावह नीता नीत ॥ Har guṇ gāvah nīṯā nīṯ. I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, continually, continuously. ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਊ ॥ तिसु बिनु दूजा अवरु न कोऊ ॥ Ŧis bin ḏūjā avar na ko▫ū. There is none other than Him at all. ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਹੈ ਸੋਊ ॥੧॥ आदि मधि अंति है सोऊ ॥१॥ Āḏ maḏẖ anṯ hai so▫ū. ||1|| He alone exists, in the beginning, in the middle, and in the end. ||1|| ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ संतन की ओट आपे आपि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Sanṯan kī ot āpe āp. ||1|| rahā▫o. He Himself is the Shelter of the Saints. ||1||Pause|| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਵਸਿ ਹੈ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥ जा कै वसि है सगल संसारु ॥ Jā kai vas hai sagal sansār. The entire universe is under His control. ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥ आपे आपि आपि निरंकारु ॥ Āpe āp āp nirankār. He Himself, the Formless Lord, is Himself by Himself. ਨਾਨਕ ਗਹਿਓ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥ नानक गहिओ साचा सोइ ॥ Nānak gahi▫o sācẖā so▫e. Nanak holds tight to that True Lord. ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥੯॥ सुखु पाइआ फिरि दूखु न होइ ॥२॥९॥ Sukẖ pā▫i▫ā fir ḏūkẖ na ho▫e. ||2||9|| He has found peace, and shall never suffer pain again. ||2||9||
