Suᴺnaṯ(i). 1.ਰੀਤ, ਮਰਯਾਦਾ; ਖਤਨੇ ਦੀ ਰੀਤ, ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਨਰ ਅੰਗ ਦਾ ਵਾਧੂ ਮਾਸ ਕਟਨਾ, ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਰੀਤ। 2. ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ। 1. a custom of Muslims, circumcision. 2. hear.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਸਰਮ ਸੁੰਨਤਿ ਸੀਲੁ ਰੋਜਾ ਹੋਹੁ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਣੁ ॥ Raga Maajh 1, Vaar 7ਸ, 1, 1:2 (P: 140).
2. ਰਸਨਾ ਉਚਰੰਤਿ ਨਾਮੰ ਸ੍ਰਵਣੰ ਸੁਨੰਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਹ ॥ Raga Jaitsaree 5, Vaar 14, Salok, 5, 1:1 (P: 709).
