ਸੰ. ਵੈਸ਼੍ਯ. ਨਾਮ/n. ਖੇਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੁਰਖ. ਹਿੰਦੂਮਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੀਜਾ ਵਰਣ. “ਬੈਸਨ ਆਦਿ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਬਨਾਈ” (ਗੁਪ੍ਰਸੂ) 2. ਸੰ. वयस्- ਵਯਸ. ਉਮਰ. ਅਵਸਥਾ. “ਬੈਸ ਬਾਤਯੋ.” (ਅਕਾਲ) 3. ਬਹਿਸ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ੪. ਦੇਖੋ- ਬੈਸਿ. “ਗੁਰੁਤਾ ਗਰਬ ਨਵੀਨੀ ਬੈਸ। ਪੁਜਾਵਵਤਿ ਬ੍ਰਿੰਦਨ ਮੇਂ ਬੈਸ.” (ਗੁਪ੍ਰਸੂ). Footnotes:
