Kahā-i. 1. ਅਖਵਾਏ, ਕਹਾਵੇ। 2. ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। 1. to cause to say, to get someone say. 2. make others recite/utter.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਜੇ ਕੋ ਵਡਾ ਕਹਾਇ ਵਡਾਈ ਖਾਵੈ ॥ Raga Maaroo 1, Solhaa 5, 10:2 (P: 1025).
2. ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਚਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਕਹੈ ਕਹਾਇ ॥ Salok 4, 25:1 (P: 1423).
