ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਤੀਹ ਕਰਿ ਰਖੇ ਪੰਜ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਥੀ ਨਾਉ ਸੈਤਾਨੁ ਮਤੁ ਕਟਿ ਜਾਈ ॥ Raga Sireeraag 1, 27, 4:1 (P: 24).
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਕਟਿ ਪਰਮ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥ (ਦੂਰ ਕਰ, ਨਾਸ ਕਰ). Raga Gaurhee, Kabir, Asatpadee 40, 1:2 (P: 331).
2. ਵੇਖੁ ਜਿ ਮਿਠਾ ਕਟਿਆ ਕਟਿ ਕੁਟਿ ਬਧਾ ਪਾਇ ॥ Raga Maajh 1, Vaar 11, Salok, 1, 2:1 (P: 143).
3. ਜਾ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੇਗ ਵਗਾਵਹਿ ਸਿਰ ਮੁੰਡੀ ਕਟਿ ਜਾਵਹਿ ॥ (ਕਟ, ਵਢੀ). Raga Maajh 1, Vaar 15, Salok, 1, 2:1 (P: 145).
