(ਹਵਾਲੈ) ਅ਼. [حوالہ] ਹ਼ਵਾਲਹ. ਨਾਮ/n. ਸੌਂਪਣ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ. ਸਪੁਰਦਗੀ. “ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਮ ਇਹੈ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਰਾਖੁ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਪਾਛੈ.” (ਸੋਰ ਮਃ ੫) “ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਾ ਹਵਾਲੈ ਹੋਤਾ.” (ਰਾਮ ਮਃ ੫) 2. ਉਦਾਹਰਣ (ਮਿਸਾਲ) ਅਤੇ ਪਤੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਤ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਧੀ, ਕਿਸੇ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੇ ਸਪੁਰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ. Footnotes:
