ਸੰ. ਨਾਮ/n. ਤੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ. ਦੇਖੋ- ਲੂ ਧਾ। 2. ਵਿਆਹ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਪਰਿਕ੍ਰਮਾ (ਫੇਰਾ), ਜਿਸ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਤੋੜਕੇ, ਪਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ. “ਹਰਿ ਪਹਿਲੜੀ ਲਾਵ.” (ਸੂਹੀ ਛੰਤ ਮਃ ੪). Footnotes:
