Lehṇā. 1. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਲੈਣਾ। receive. “ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਲਹਣਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਗਹਣਾ ॥” ਮਾਝ ੫, ੪੦, ੩:੧ (੧੦੬). 2. ਨਫਾ, ਲਾਹਾ, ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਸਤ। profit. “ਪੁਰਬ ਲਿਖੇ ਕਾ ਲਹਣਾ ਪਾਹਿ ॥” ਗਉ ੫, ਸੁਖ ੧੫, ੭:੪ (੨੮੩). 3. ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਨਾਂ। second Guru’s name before he was made the second Guru of the Sikhs. “ਜਾ ਸੁਧੋਸੁ ਤਾਂ ਲਹਣਾ ਟਿਕਿਓਨੁ ॥” ਰਾਮ ਬਸ, ਵਾਰ ੪:੯ (੯੬੭).

(ਲਹਣਾਂ) ਕ੍ਰਿ. ਲਭਣਾ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਾ. “ਪ੍ਰਭੁ, ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਲਹਣਾ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਗਹਣਾ.” (ਮਾਝ ਮਃ ੫) 2. ਉਤਰਨਾ. ਲਥਣਾ। 3. ਨਾਮ/n. ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਨਾਮ. “ਲਹਣਾ ਜਗਤ੍ਰਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਸਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ.” ਅਤੇ “ਰਾਜੁਜੋਗੁ ਲਹਣਾ ਕਰੈ.” (ਸਵੈਯੇ ਮਃ ੨ ਕੇ). Footnotes:
