1. ਖੇਲਿ ਗਏ ਸੇ ਪੰਖਣੂੰ ਜੋ ਚੁਗਦੇ ਸਰ ਤਲਿ ॥ (ਤਲਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਜਗਾ ਭਾਵ ਜਿਥੇ ਚੋਗਾ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ). Raga Sireeraag 1, Asatpadee 11, 8:1 (P: 60).
2. ਪੰਚ ਮਾਰਿ ਪਾਵਾ ਤਲਿ ਦੀਨੇ ॥ Raga Aaasaa, Kabir, 3, 2:3 (P: 476).
ਉਦਾਹਰਨ:
ਫਰੀਦਾ ਮਹਲ ਨਿਸਖਣ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਵਾਸਾ ਆਇਆ ਤਲਿ ॥ (ਥੱਲੇ, ਧਰਤੀ ਥੱਲੇ ਭਾਵ ਕਬਰ ਵਿਚ). Salok, Farid, 97:1 (P: 1382).
3. ਸੀਸੁ ਨਿਹਾਰਉ ਚਰਣ ਤਲਿ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਵਉ ॥ Raga Soohee 5, 42, 1:2 (P: 745).
