Dẖāhā. ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਖਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਣਿਆ ਨਦੀ ਦਾ ਉਚਾ ਕੰਢਾ। raised bank of stream which has come up due to erosion of soil by water current.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨ:
ਫਰੀਦਾ ਮਉਤੈ ਦਾ ਬੰਨਾ ਏਵੈ ਦਿਸੈ ਜਿਉ ਦਰੀਆਵੈ ਢਾਹਾ ॥ Salok 14, 98:1 (P: 1383).
