ਨਾਮ/n. ਦਾੜ੍ਹੀ. ਸ਼ਮਸ਼੍ਰੁ. ਰੀਸ਼. ਸੰ. ਦਾਢਿਕਾ। 2. ਵਿ. ਦਾਧੀ. ਜਲੀਹੋਈ. “ਡਾਢੀ ਕੇ ਰਖੈਯਨ ਕੀ ਡਾਢੀਸੀ ਰਹਿਤ ਛਾਤੀ.” (ਭੂਸ਼ਣ) ਦਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਵਾ ਜੀ ਤੋਂ ਛਾਤੀ ਸੜੀ ਜੇਹੀ ਰਹਿਂਦੀ ਹੈ। 3. ਉੱਚਧੁਨਿ. ਬੁਲੰਦ ਆਵਾਜ਼. “ਬਾਣੀ ਕੋਈ ਡਾਢੀ ਜਪਦੇ ਹੈਨ ਕੋਈ ਹਉਲੀ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ.” (ਭਗਤਾਵਲੀ) 4. ਡਾਢਾ ਦਾ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਲਿੰਗ. ਜਿਵੇਂ- ਮੈਨੂੰ ਡਾਢੀ ਸੱਟ ਵੱਜੀ ਹੈ.
