ਝੂਠਾ ਮੰਗਣੁ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਾਂਗੈ ॥ (ਨਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ). Raga Maajh 5, 50, 1:1 (P: 109).
ਮਹਜਰੁ ਝੂਠਾ ਕੀਤੋਨੁ ਆਪਿ ॥ (ਜੋ ਸਚ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਬਣਾਵਟੀ). Raga Gaurhee 5, 168, 1:1 (P: 199).

ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦੀ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਹੋਸੀ ਅਵਰੁ ਝੂਠਾ ਸਭੁ ਮਾਨੋ ॥ (ਫਜੂਲ, ਨਿਰਾਰਥਕ). Raga Aaasaa 1, Chhant 3, 1:4 (P: 437).
ਕਬੀਰ ਕਸਉਟੀ ਰਾਮ ਕੀ ਝੂਠਾ ਟਿਕੈ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ (ਜੋ ਖਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਸਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ). Raga Raamkalee 3, Vaar 4, Salok, Kabir, 1:1 (P: 948).
