Karpāṯī. ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਤਰ (ਭਾਂਡਾ) ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਵਰਤਨ ਵਾਲਾ। one who uses his hand as a vessel/pot, leaf-plate.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨ:
ਮੋਨਿ ਭਇਓ ਕਰਪਾਤੀ ਰਹਿਓ ਨਗਨ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਬਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥ Raga Sorath 5, Asatpadee 3, 2:1 (P: 641).

ਸੰ. करपात्रिन्- ਕਰਪਾਤ੍ਰੀ. ਵਿ. ਜੋ ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਪਾਤ੍ਰ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ. ਬਿਨਾ ਹੱਥ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਤ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਤ੍ਯਾਗੀ. “ਮੋਨ ਭਇਓ ਕਰਪਾਤੀ ਰਹਿਓ ਨਗਨ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਬਨ ਮਾਹੀ.” (ਸੋਰ ਅ: ਮਃ ੫). Footnotes:
